    (Nice comparison chart)http://www.allheart.com/littmann-stethoscope-comparison/a/littmann-stethoscope-comparison/

I'm not in the medical field by any means. But, I remember a decade ago when my GP got his first HP electronic stethoscope. He was very happy that day.

Now, Littman offers electronic with noise-cancellation. wow.

ditto what those guys said.. Littman.

and guard it with your life hahah

depending on what line of work you're in, a good quality stethoscope can easily sprout legs and disappear

Depends on the location your working from and current budget.

Personal choice is this when working in the back if a box.

Get the bell engraved, I had the bell engraved and it's helped it stay in my possession. Also i took an empty vial made a label with my name. Then stuck it off in vial, used nasal cannula tubing to create a loop around the chest piece. After that it hasn't walked off since and surprisingly I have been notified a few times after I've left in the box, on a scene and helps spot it in the hands of the illustrious stethoscope thieves aka nursing home techs.

might be a bit selfish if I don't do something spontaneous to listen to other peoples hearts with, but I'm picky and it will be romantic enough if I get it from the Love shack.

Maybe I'll make a list of Love shacks and draw from a hat which one to get it from.

Love shacks are cheap. You should invest in a Love mansion.

Couldn't agree more. As long as you can clearly hear the heart/chest/gut sounds, you don't really need to splash out anymore money.

    HHAHAHAHAHAHA. I love it!!
Once I developed my 'ears', it didn't matter what I used, even the disposable ones for ISO PTS worked fine
Mines an old Litman Lightweight, the aluminum bell doesn't swing up and smack ya when ya lean over like the heavy bells do icon_lol.gif
Those angled ear pieces get caught on everything tho, annoying

I have one of my dad's old stethoscopes and I've been seeing a resident who has his own. But I have no idea how to use them as a sex toy. Anybody want to explain?
