Men with attractive muscular bodies are just compulsive overeaters who exercise.

    As I was polishing off my 12th brownie in 2 days today I realized with the amount of food I put away I should be an obese type 2 diabetic who is reviled by society. Except I lift weights 6 days a week. I constantly eat because I'm bored, sad or depressed...or just because I like eating and it feels good. If I didn't work out I'd get fat and people would say "you have a problem with food that stems from other emotional issues you have to deal with =o".

    Except I lift weights and grow muscle with that food and people say good job you're a good example for people!

    MOAR BROWNIES!!!! >=OO!!!!!

    I've been really good about it lately, but I have the same issue. People are usually shocked by the amount of food I can pack away.

    If I'm at a party with a decent spread, I'll stand around it and eat all night. I make up for it by doing two workouts the day of and day after. I don't know if this is healthy, but I guess I really love food.

    PS: I eat enough in one week for 2-3 people. I sometimes am ashamed of how much money I spend on food, even though I'm not buying things that are unnecessarily extravagant from a nutrition standpoint. I mean, I buy $1 loaf whole wheat bread at Kroger for my turkey sandwiches!

    OP - do you have some deep seated underlying emotional issues which encourages you to eat lots of food? Or do you just like food? Or both?!

    I think that hard long workouts are the perfect reason to eat as you please. I actually pretty damn close to what Ariodante claims, just with less sugars and more fats, from my sister's cooking, and the fast food next to my work. Then when I go workout I spend about 3 or 4 hours at the gym, including cardio and abdominal work at the end of workouts. I regret nothing, other than not living closer to the gym, and not having whey protein shakes afterwards... otherwise, eat reasonably to your heats content, and kick your ass at the gym, and sleep on it when you're done!

    I can eat all I want and whatever I want and I can't seem to gain wait. Currently I'm trying to eat healthy and do lots of weights to pack on some muscle.

    Same here. I always wonder why I'm not fat, when I always get bored and polish off a whole box of cereal with milk in about ten minutes, lol. It's the weight lifting, and my general fitness compulsion. I really only sit still when I'm concentrating on writing, and even then I'm usually flexing my abs or glutes. I'm just THAT obsessed, lol. icon_smile.gif

    Girl. I don't eat. I have so many fucking food allergies I have trouble keeping weight on. No dairy, no wheat, no red meat. Ugh. I go out and can only order Indian food.

    I cook for other people a lot and let them eat my food while I watch.

    IDC what the circumstances are, don't let anyone tell you you're fat; and never take that shit to heart. Trolling or not, you're perfect just the way you are... one loving man in your life couldn't be wrong! icon_wink.gif

    You and my 2nd oldest brother got the same situation! He is allergic to life, but loves to cook and go out in nature anyway! Props on learning to cook; while not being able to eat what you make. You're truly a Nurturer! Hugs* icon_biggrin.gif
