    you mean the V shape you get whe there's either really tiny or no love handles? generally it's a lower abs and muscular thighs kinda thing...

    Crunches for abs, the V shape is caused by low body fat and good lats, and training your obliques. For the pelvic floor muscles it's kegals. Be more specific on what you want.

    I hang from the pull up bar and do lower an curls that way. But pull from the sides and not uP the middle.

    Lay on back with legs perpendicular to the floor and Swiss ball between your ankles. With legs at 90 degrees to trunk lower ball to the floor to the left and then back to center and then to the right. Repeat until you feel the burn.

    I do windmill leg raises like this (really hard!):



    And roman chair leg leg lifts. Anything where you're lifting your legs is going to work your lower abs and hip flexors and that's what's going to give you definition there.

    No one mentioned any good exercises for this:

    1) Running--hip flexors are the muscles you are highlighting "cum gutters" --if you want a high rep low weight deal, then run.

    2) Use the hip flexor machine, add weight and be surprised you never did this exercise before. It is the one with an arm on a rotary circle that you can do hip abduction/adduction and hip flexion/extension with. You want hip flexion (but don't forget to do extensions to balance it out). This is the fastest way..unless you like doing leg lifts..I don't know anyone who enjoys doing this exercise at a "moderate weight high reps" routine--that would be leg lifts.

    Leg lifts are stellar for working lower abs. A deep set "V" on a man torso is quite possible the sexiest thing on a man.

    I think the V shape comes mostly (80%) from diet, doing cardio or other sports than gym and of course all the exercices above (20%).
