    Saw something earlier this morning while driving that sparked this question in my head...If you had to choose between a nice face and body (looks) or a nice house and car (lifestyle), which would you give up up for the other?

    Personally I'd choose to keep my looks....

    Anyone can have a job, save money and buy nice material things. Anyone can work very hard to achieve a good body (though this is harder in some ways than saving money to buy stuff). A good face you're kind of either born with it or you're not, with little you can do about it. Though a great body can make a face look better...except when they strive to be hyper learn and they make their face look skeletal. and emaciated, especially when you get older.

    I suppose you can't have one and work towards the other, right?

    Otherwise I'd take the money/house/car and then pay for a personal trainer/plastic surgery. icon_smile.gif

    I would gladly take SwimBikeRun949 along with the money. To hell with the house and car.

    In this particular case, I'd pick looks (vs. lifestyle). A simple life is all I need.

    I would go for a better lifestyle over looks.

    Looks

    Plus handsome people have an easier time getting jobs so you could get your house / car in time anyways!

    If I choose looks does that mean I'm living in poverty or does that mean I have an average car with an average house? If it's the former, I'll take the lifestyle. If it's the latter, I'll take the looks.

    You'll probably live longer and be happier with the face and body--mainly because after a certain age your looks can only be maintained through healthy living.

    I'd rather give up neither, but if I had to pick one I'd keep the house and car! Many people including myself get pulled by looks first, but I'd rather have somebody who likes me, for me. Even if I didn't have a nice face/ body that wouldn't mean I wasn't healthy. Having money and material things lets you live a nice life at a pace you set!

    Looks and body, no question for me. I can always work my way into the lifestyle, or I don't need it. Looks are gifted to you by the universe, and a good body is to some degree as well.

    Looks and body, no contest. But, with enough money you can buy good looks...but there are limitations with current technology.

    I'd keep the good body over the house and car. you don't have to travel in style or have a "good home" to be happy. and... so far this has actually been my life anyways >.<;

    wow....mixed answers.....the reason I asked this was because earlier I stopped at a stop sign in front of this extremely rundown house with boards on it and a really old car parked in front. This VERY beautiful, young blonde woman, who was dressed up nicely, came out and headed to the car and it just kinda made me wonder....so I tried to put myself in her shoes....icon_confused.gif

    Nice face and body. The house and car could burn down or get blown away by a hurricane or tornado icon_lol.gif
