    I want a Diver's body Damn it!

Divers seem to have bulge blasting quads, a very defined adonis belt, nice small chests, and flat midsections. Besides obviously diving..does anyone know how to achieve a body like this? Any tips especially from former RJ divers would be greatly appreciated..
. Oh and This video is perfect to really showcase what I am talking about icon_razz.gif
It shows the super sexy divers from Great Britain.

I think a good quad is desired by almost everyone but I think a broad chest is what really sets a man from a boy.. Honestly, they look like little penguins from Happy Feet with their small chests. Also, most divers look short because of their not so proportionate body. icon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gif

Never been a fan of diver/swimmer's builds. I agree with the poster above about the small chests. Their bodies resemble a toned, athletic chick. I'd take a gymnast's body of a diver any day!

I think swimmers have better 'proportionate' and less body-fat percentage than gymnasts because, in swimming, you are working the whole body and more cardio exercises than gymnasts who focuses more on strength and upper body workouts. Most gymnasts, especially, bar gymnasts, have a unusually larger shoulders, biceps and triceps compared to a short not-so-developed lower bodies. Also, I think swimmers have longer legs and arms than gymnasts do. Have you noticed most olympic swimmers are 6'1"- 6'4" whereas the average height of most gymnasts are much shorter. Olympic women gymnasts are very short, Hell, look like little middle school girls whereas olympic women swimmers look tall like college athletes. icon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gif

In addition to the small chests and arms (the guys look like high school kids to me), their bodies have an additional flaw: their brains! Divers have more head trauma and brain injury than football players.

I guess it makes sense for them to have a small chest and arms because, in order to make as little splash as possible entering the water, you'd want a smaller chest (surface area) impacting the water surface. You wouldn't want a swimmer's or a gymnast's chest interfering with the dive., would you? And the reason why they have a bigger quads is that you'd want a good lower body strength to kickstart from the springboard to make a good spin. I've been watching olympic diving and the reason they take off points are on the springboard jump, the spin and the entry in the water, the dive judges want from the jump to the entry as smooth as possible. It's amazing how the sport that you are into conditions your whole body into a certain type after so many years of training. No wonder fish develops gills, heck, if you spend enough time in the water, human beings might develop gills and fins. icon_razz.gif

Plus, note the gymnast above doesn't have to shave his body hair off so he actually looks manly.
