    Is this an officially-sanctioned poll?

    1. I wish there were more consistency and transparency in terms of site operation and moderation (or lack thereof). Sometimes it seems like anything goes, then someone gets all hot and bothered and before you know it people are getting banned. I could deal with either way, but the current state of affairs benefits no one.

    2. MOTD should not have to have his profile set for public viewing!

    3. A technical issue - I wish it were possible to send an RJ mail message without your screen automatically showing your private pics and asking if you want to attach them. What that means is, even though RJ passes muster by my work's firewall, if I want to send an email I have to get off my computer and log in on phone or tablet. And yes, it's because my peen shows in my private pics, but I shouldn't have to worry about that.

1a, Most: There are lots of great people here, and I've met many of them in person.
1b, Least: There are lots of assholes here, and they make the place intolerable for many newbs looking for a community where they can belong.

2a, Most: Very well laid-out profile features with easy editing.
2b, Least: Very confusing quote features if a person doens't have a basic knowledge of HTML and BBCode.

    3. Mobile app. Yeah I know it's been brought up many times before, but RJ is one of the only gay networking site left that does not have a mobile app. This single feature (or lack thereof) will be the death of this site very soon if it doesn't implement it.

Most: The community - even if it can be completely fractious and full of trollololol LULZ ...

Least: No mobile app (even if it was a bare-bones rendering of just the forums).

I like most of the guys on here. I've yet to ignore anyone, although I wouldn't be surprised if some people have ignored me lol. I love debating, win or lose it's always fun; I've never gotten butthurt... yet. I LOVE posting my pics. I know some people think unapologetic vanity is trolling, but I can't help being an exhibitionist; I welcome any and all jealousy.icon_biggrin.gif There're quite a few guys on here I'd call my friend, and it's awesome to have friends.

The only thing I don't like is when I spend so much time on here that I don't get my other work done.icon_neutral.gif

No. I thought this would be a timely and useful set of questions to pose to the community given the recent ensmegmations which have plagued the site. Maybe people will think about what they want this community to be (or not be), and share some insight on technical features which might help to bolster the good and eliminate the negative.

    Thanks for asking!

    Community

Likes: The diverse group of people.
Dislikes: The trolls and the people who always seem pissed about something.

    Platform

Likes: Straight forward and easy to navigate.
Dislikes: The site overall, including the forums and chat, seems outdated.

    Capabilities

A mobile version of the website would be nice (instead of a separate app). The e-mail system could be more secure and have more features, such as rich text.

Has anyone else noticed the Mail indicator is directly above and a bit too close to Sign Out?

When I use the site on my iPad I often accidentally click Sign Out when I mean to click Mail.

My fingers must be too big...

Zoom in before you tap. On Android, if it can't disambiguate it automatically zooms in for you so you can tap again.

That's because open source Android is far superior to any proprietary operating system.

Proprietary is just, so, "Two Thousand and Late".

I like looking at the pictures icon_smile.gif reading what the gay men have to say about 'stuff' and sometimes you can actually talk to some of the RJ's.

Least, some of the attitudes and some of the topics can be really stupid or have already been discussed or have no relevance what so ever, to anything.

I definitely agree with this. I am so tired of the whiners and complainers getting upset because someone says something they don't like; for example, people whining about the right wingers. Just Ignore them if they bother you. Likewise with the assholes; just Ignore them.

And I don't understand this obsession with people being "fake"; this is the internet. I'm reminded of the New Yorker cartoon where a dog in front of a computer is talking to a cat next to him and says, "On the internet nobody knows you're a dog."
