That site just lost its credibility with me when it had a stupid popup I had to close before reading the article.

I'll wait till the info is published on a REAL science site instead of a commercial purporting to be a science site.

I think paul is just cranky because we squeezed all of the juice out of this title before he could get to it. icon_lol.gif

There have been a couple shows on Nat Geo and the Discovery Channel that maybe black holes lead to an opposite dimension in space, explained by the recent confirmation of dark matter, dark energy and the acceleration of the expansion of the universe. Really cool stuff.

I am not sure how credible this is, but it seems very interesting.

I saw another show on one of those channels where they discussed the theory of multiple universes!

We perceive 3 dimensions but if you go according to String theory the number of dimensions is 10 to the power of 500. that is 10 followed by 500 zeros, which is the number of dimensions icon_eek.gif

Hawking radiation is old hat. It also has been shown that information can escape black holes, which was far more controversial. In fact Hawking made a bet that evaporation via Hawking radiation meant that information was not conserved. He lost that bet and gave Preskill a baseball encyclopedia for his trouble.

I travel through black holes. Hurts like shit, but saves a lot of time getting places.
