So I was shopping and noticed mango ice cream was on sale. Figuring I should try something new, I bought one. It has since become my new crack. What's your ice cream flavor of choice?

I haven't seen it outside Ireland, but I love brown bread ice cream. It's sort of cinnamon and caramelised brown soda bread

Boring old chocolate is my all time fav. Although I once tried indian pudding and it wasn't half bad.

This is absolutely inevitable so I may as well be the one to repost it:

    Mango is great.

Years ago I tried a tub of Belgian chocolate with Mandarin orange. It was great but I haven't seen it in the store since. Probably discontinued.

Edy's used to make this one called Coney Island Waffle Cone that was vanilla, caramel, and pieces of chocolate-dipped waffle cone. Sadly, they don't make it anymore. icon_cry.gif I've heard Ben & Jerry's has a similar one, but I haven't had tried it.

To avoid turning on my sweet tooth with ice cream, I've switched to Arctic Zero. It's satisfies the craving, and no remose.

Almond and honey soy "ice cream". Delicious. And much happier for my lactose hating tummy.

I always liked the Edys special flavors, like Butterfinger. I can't eat dairy anymore, but I occasionally eat coconut milk "ice cream".

Although there are two odd flavors that I had once and was never able to find again that were amazing:

Ben & Jerry's had a Caramel Apple Crisp flavor that was divine.

Baskin Robbins once had a Tea of Tranquility flavor that was Chai Tea flavored ice cream with ginger snap cookies mixed in. I think it actually was the meaning of life.

Now - if I have to have ice cream, I just buy the little Skinny Cow single serve containers.

Cherry-vanilla, with big pieces of cherries

Any combination of vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce (and whatever else they put in there like salty nuts or chocolate covered nuts)

Haagen Dazs' Amaretto di Saronno! They had this about 15 years ago as a special flavor and I still salivate over it

Although I don't find them very often, my two favorites are licorice and pumpkin flavors from Baskin Robbins.

Once a year, I buy a pint of this. Then I eat it. That's my fix for the year.
