Gay guys are better suited to having pet dogs.

This. I can't believe more people haven't said something along these lines.

lol. I think all married couples should start with pets first... there should be some sort of licensing system. If you can't raise a happy healthy pet, then you're not allowed to procreate ;) Kidding aside, I don't think it hurts to wait and build a solid, loving marriage first.

That's exactly the reasons why gay couples should have children and that's because they're more likely to adopt than straight couples.

If only we could have this implemented.

Told my five nephews and nieces that I would be spending my last dollar as I take my last breath. Their parents can leave them some inheritance not an uncle.

Nice article! The comments page was all positive too.

My bf and I are planning to get married, and people ask us all the time if we'll adopt. I think it does show more mainstream acceptance. The tide is changing fast! icon_smile.gif

I think it is great that gay couples are having kids. My partner and I are talking about this now.

However, I don't think it's great to feel pressured into doing so.

Whether you are straight or gay, the decision to have kids should be all about your ability and desire to have kids. There are too many people who have kids that really should not.

Children should not be a status symbol to indicate success.

No pressure on us, as our four dogs will suffice. Albeit our big home has room for a child or two. But neither of us have a hole that we feel needs to be filled with a child either. Albeit the amount of times I have been asked, and I am always told by people with children what a great father I would of made too. many feel it a waste I never had kids, but once agin, there is not a hole in my life that I feel needs to be filled with a child. I like the freedom my life has way to much.

Oh but I have breeding bisexual brother. No it's the liberal hatful here at RJ that may say such things, because of their hearts filled with hate. But I shudder at some of our half brothers here whom have felt their sperm Worthy to pollute this earth with; more than once.

Oh our dear g0y, it's more of a blessing with the violence you have promoted, that you never bred. At least I would allow my child the right to freedom of thought.

Wow.. With the overpopulation of the planet and pressure on resources, I'd have thought more people would've been discouraged from breeding to be honest...
