Unfortunately, their plans for a better America do not envisage a country in which you will have equal rights with the rest of society. By all means, keep cheering for your second class citizenship.

Best country in the world. Has been and always will be. Americans are democrats and republicans. We have our differences but one thing we are is a united country

I would be very cautious in supporting this GOP ticket if I were you, there are too many unknowns especially with Romney pandering to the narrow minded, bible thumping screwballs who have taken over the GOP and turned it into a glorified theocracy.

Yes, be very careful of the fundamentalists in the Republican party. Their idea of unity is monolithic and exclusive. I doubt they will allow Romney any 'evolution' on equal rights.

I would take that over the pot smoking, drug using, entitlement wanting occupy movement that the democrats and Obama have taken ownership of.

yeah, the only thing missing from that announcement rally was the "mission accomplished" banner.

and yes i did hear the "truck backing up" beeper going off in the background while romney was speaking about moving the country forward.

I think david plouffe must have rented a truck in VA this morning

all the obama team has to do now is cut all of romneys press events with eminem's white america replacing the audio and it's a slam dunk.

America would be far better off under Obama and the pot smoking Occupy movement than under the greedy, corrupt 1% who have ruined this country's economic well being just to line their already fat pockets with more money. You want America to become like Iran and Saudi Arabia by letting the fundy lunatics turn it into a theocracy. Evidently you have a lot to learn. This is why the Occupy movement demanded needed change and entitlements because the capitalist system failed the mass majority of the American people. People are sick and damned tired of working for nothing and the corporate fat cats stealing all the wealth. A more equal distribution of wealth, resources, and opportunities is long overdue in the US, otherwise this country is going to decline and weaken into a third world banana republic and thats the absolute truth. No bullshit here.

yeah as a tactical move by doubling down with the right/white america/tbaggers movement, Romney just gave away the middle, hispanics, gays, independents, moderates, women, and the AARP crowd.

there's no net + with Ryan,

and a big loss: old people typically vote conservative, but will they vote for a republican who wants to take away their medicare and social security? HELL NO.

Rubio would have been a game changer, this is a gift for Obama, not your best executive decision mitt.

I think so, too. But I also foresee a Christie/Rubio campaign in 2016.

maybe, i dunno that's alot of ego in one room, hard to figure out who'd be the top and who'd be the bottom. and now i'm queasy just imagining that.

anyway they'll face H(b)illary, she's been rackin up foreign policy video for her POTUS campaign, and her husband won't stop at anything to see her elected, because it would cement their dynasty. the only reason he couldn't do it for her in '08 is because he couldn't go medieval on a black man. but he wouldn't hesitate to eviscerate christie/rubio, and enjoy every minute.

120yo white dude, and beauty pageant runner up

this R&R ticket is no better: a corporate raider and slash and burn austerity budgeteer

ask greece how well austerity has worked at turning their economy around.

ya i don't get why they keep repeating the battleship as backdrop thing:

it's just a transparent prop to try and make people think they're all hawkish even though neither of these nutless pussies ever served their country.....i'm proud of our servicemen, i'm offended by losers who pretend to be.

yeah, romney's about as in touch with veterans issues as he is with inner city youth.

remember it took Obama to get Osama, bush/cheney failed

There will be improvement in the US until people stop pinning everything on the White House and start being an example of how they want things to be.

This simply is not true. If Romney were truly pandering to the bible thumpers, he would have picked a Rick Santorum or Mike Huckabee as his V.P. --- With this Ryan V.P. pick, Romney is clearly doubling down on making the economy the #1 issue in this campaign, and picking one of the most experienced members of congress to help him lead the way.
