Though I never cared much for the original, Hollywood thought it wise to produce and this October 30th, release a DTV sequel to the movie beloved by many. Hardcore fans are going to shit themselves...with rage mostly. icon_biggrin.gif I can't see many getting excited by this announcement.

If Warner Bros. was smart, they would probably had made more money with a wide release and the return of the original cast (those still living). That is if they would have came back after all these years.

They (WB) would probably have been even smarter if they left the original alone.

It's not often that these kind of sequels or remakes do not lead to disappointment.

I saw the stage musical version of the original a while back -- very faithful to the movie with an endearing end.

Ugh. This sounds horrible. Hollywood has completely run out of ideas.

This is another reason why I am sick of Hollyweird fucking with good classics by remaking or "rebooting" them. Are there really no original ideas left?

Well, Home Alone was already ruined with Home Alone 4...so I'm not surprised.

Christmas Story is one of my favorite Christmas movies (and I love Christmas movies). Should a sequel be produced and released, I will ignore it.

Unfortunately the sequel is already here to mess with the original.
