Ive been in this situation a lot, and I never go further than just looking if I like the guy. Have you ever met some one like this? If so, then what you did? who said the first word?icon_question.gif

You smile, if he smiles back, find an excuse to get near him and say 'Hi' then talk about the weather, and steer the conversation into asking him out for coffee.

    So simple... in principle. icon_lol.gif

    I smile.

If the smile is returned, I say "Hello. How are you?"

It is no different than what you were taught as basic social etiquette when you were younger.

Oops. I thought we were talking about going back and forth looking at profiles.

I usually exchange eye contact and if one or the other is interested, somebody usually smiles and says Hello.

    Heck, looking like you do?!

The other guy will be more nervous than you!

Just follow the following foolproof conversation cues:

You: Hai! Do you think it's going to rain?
    Him: *shrugs* I think so.
    You: Wanna haz seks nao?
    Him: Sure!

Okay, I may be lying about the last bit, but that's basically it. icon_cool.gif

In bars looking at each other happens a lot, so I usually did not pursue it further unless I was really interested and he held my look a bit longer then normal. Then depending on my mood that night I would go over to him and say hello or let him make the effort. Sometimes the conversation would struggle to get off the ground because the only thing you might have in common is lust. At that point I would realize this would definitely be only a 1 night fling.

And that's precisely where I used to run into trouble! Sometimes the conversation is good and you're able to keep the banter going. When it just wasn't there I had a terrible time finding a graceful exit. Slightly easier if I was with friends.
