When I had my dog, I talked to him as if he were a best friend of mine. Got through my teen years like that ha.

I talk to myself in my head all the time. Also once in a while I'll talk to myself in the mirror to psych myself out and boost my confidence for a presentation or a meeting.

I also talked to my dog when we were watching tv together or when I can't sleep and he's on the floor next to my bed I'll tell him what's bothering me, helped me get to sleep.

Of course I talk to my dog! I sometimes reply for him as well! Based on his facial expression.

I keep waiting for him to answer when I ask him a question, for some reason I feel like it wouldn't be that weird if I did.

Sometimes mutter the odd thing to myself but not whole conversations like I'd have with him.

I talk to my birds and they do respond - I just can't understand what they are saying generally!

Sure, I talk to myself at times.. out loud and certainly talk to my beagles all the time. I think it would be odd if I DIDN'T talk to them.

I talk to my dog Sadeki all the time. I think because of it she is super smart, and understands a lot of what I say. I talk to myself in my head all the time. I think it would be impossible for anyone not to.

Its not that it makes you smarter. People that talk to Themselves can more easily reach a conclusion and be more effective than people that don't. It stimulates a certain part of the brain if I'm correct

While I was studying I used to talk to myself like I was giving the lecture - I've always found that helped me remember pertinent facts. The same when it comes to interpreting data, the more I discuss it with myself the more I figure things out and come to logical conclusions. I guess its just a thing of needing to hear your thoughts out loud sometimes.

Most definitely .... I talk to myself, argue with myself, and sometimes even but in when talking to myself.

I also talk to my dogs. It's my understanding that they have about a 200 word vocabulary and just talking to them, even if they don't understand, helps them know you love them. I don't actually try to sit and have a conversation with them, but when I'm going to the grocery or to work, I tell them where I'm going and they have some idea of how long I'll be gone. I know, weird.

    I do both A LOT!
lol not much to boast about but yeah ... guilty.
One step worse ... I even laugh at my own jokes now that's really really lame!

Then again, I never say jokes because I think others will think they're funny, I just say it because I think it's funny. Which means I'm a selfish prick lol.
