My dad used to say that I was proof primates are somewhere in our evolutionary line. Its more that I'm sometimes just to lazy to bend over to pick something up - hell, if you have the ability to do it, then its a bonus.

Omg. I thought I was the only 'freak' in the world. I've long told myself that if my fingers ever accidentally got chopped off they could just replace them with my toes, LOL!

About all I can do is kick dirty clothes up off of the floor - into the air and then I catch them & toss then into the hamper. I'm not sure that's really picking things up though!

It's a huge part of ballet.

Yup, I can grasp things with my toes. Like things on the floor, etc. Or giving a guy a foot job underneath the table at a restaurant.

My big toe is about 1/2" longer than my second toe and I have no problems picking up things. I can also give a really mean pinch with them too.

My toes work almost as well as my fingers...I guess due to genetics and ballet training...

Yes, I am pretty dexterous with my toes and I can probably exert as much pressure between my big toe and second toe as I can between my thumb and forefinger. (And Chris can come and do my laundry any time.)
