USAT/Gallup Poll: Paul Ryan gets low marks for VP:

Americans don't believe GOP presidential contender Mitt Romney hit a home run with his choice of Paul Ryan as a running mate, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds, with more of the public giving him lower marks than high ones.

Ryan, a Wisconsin congressman, is seen as only a "fair" or "poor" choice by 42% of Americans vs. 39% who think he is an "excellent" or "pretty good" vice presidential choice.

It's as dumb a choice as Palin. Ryan brings in NO votes that Romney did not already have, right wing republicans were going to vote for Romney anyway, Ryan does not help at all with undecideds. Romney is an idiot for picking such a far right crazy.

yup, and there's a hilarious similarity between how the base felt about McCain in '08 and why he picked Palin.

Republicans didn't like McCain either, so he had to go with a radical right nutjob, just to shore up the base.

only difference is this time it's a radical right fiscal (faux)hawk and he also happens to be a social wingnut too.

Sarah Palin is less ideological than Paul Ryan and governed Alaska as a center-right moderate.

That's how extreme Paul Ryan is. I mean, cutting student loans? Cutting pre-school programs? Cutting Medicare AND Social Security?

He is the most extreme major party Presidential or Vice-Presidential nominee ever. Scary.

Like any choice Romney would make is a good choice for the democrats? I think its an excellent choice. If the democrats want a real debate on issues, they got it.

Here's what the Gay Republican's Partner Michael Savage has to say on another far right internet rag the WND.

One of the nation’s top radio hosts (Michael Savage) has fired off some hot criticism of presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s choice to select Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., as his vice presidential running mate.

“This is the end of the Romney campaign,” says Michael Savage. “As good a man as he is, Ryan will be portrayed by the Marxists as another rich white male who wants to ruin the environment, destroy Medicaid and Social Security and give tax breaks to the very rich. It’s all over."

“The Romney schmucks are so out of touch with reality they do not see how they are being portrayed and perceived both by the servile press and the ignorant masses,” the radio host states on his website. “The Romney insiders detest conservatives and are trying to appease this core base with Ryan. Too little, too late.”

Assuming by “Marxists” Savage is referring to some within Barack Obama’s circle of allies, the radio host’s prediction of response to Ryan has already proven spot on.

Seems to me that Savage is mislabeling the 'ignorant masses' most are waking up to the facts that Ryan's plans benefit only the rich and definately not the poor, the elderly nor the middle class. there are however still a lot of ignorant Christian Fundi's and TBaggers who cannot see beyond their religious Ideology that the repubs like Ryan and Romney are just using them.

choice A) you're always welcome in the president's tent,

he wants you to be able to serve your country openly as a gay man, he wants you to have fair employment/housing opportunities, be able to marry your partner, and adopt/father children if you choose.

choice B) you're NOT welcome in your candidate's tent.

he wants to make your life constitutionally illegal. And if you're willing to suffer that indignity, becuz u think Romney's economic plan with bestow upon you untold riches, remember, you'll need to be totally closeted, with a fake marriage to a woman to get to the top rung in Romney's world.

I can't vote for a guy who won't have me in his tent. game over.

if you could take off your partisan blinders for just a second, you might be able to see how much better off the US is following the global finacial meltdown than most of the rest of the world is. if you want to know how well the ryan style austerity works, take a look at how well it's worked for the eurozone clusterfuk.

you can sit here and declare the stimulus useless but without tarp, the recovery act, qe1&2 the US would be in a 45% unemployment depression worse than 1929. fact.

anyway tarp and the recovery act stimulus were already part of the paulsen/bush attempt to mop up the bush administration's tax cut/ deregulation economic disaster.

oh yeah, tax cuts and deregulation....sure, let's vote for that again.

    You GAY REPUBLICANS, Christian Fundi's, TBaggers and Birthers need to listen to your fellow conservative Michael Savage, Here's what your partner has to say about Romney's choice of Ryan;

“This is the end of the Romney campaign,” says Michael Savage. “As good a man as he is, Ryan will be portrayed by the Marxists as another rich white male who wants to ruin the environment, destroy Medicaid and Social Security and give tax breaks to the very rich. It’s all over."
