Representative Paul Ryan was a pivotal figure in killing the 2010 Bowles-Simpson agreement, which Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney now holds out as a model for putting America’s fiscal house in order.

The 18-member panel needed 14 votes to send a 10-year plan to trim the debt to Congress for a vote. As his party’s then- ranking member on the House Budget Committee, Ryan led a bloc of three House Republicans who denied the additional votes needed.

Ryan also voted for all the budget-busting Bush policies:

The Bush tax cuts that have added over 2.5 trillion to the National Debt.
The Bush wars that added over 1 trillion dollars.
Tha Bush prescription drug bill that's 100% unpaid for and that cost more than President Obama's stimulus bill.

Ryan voted for all of them - without raising a word of objection about the costs or the need to pay for them.

Ryan voted to blow up our National Debt.
The idea that he's a serious fiscal conservative is a complete lie.
