How would it not exist? That's how a loaf of bread bakes. icon_neutral.gif

Yes, but what purpose does it serve? icon_confused.gif

So, are you saying that some things only exist to allow others to exist ? icon_wink.gif

Love the "heel" of the bread. We used to fight over it when we were kids.

Its existence is proof that you dont have to be part of the norm, like all those other slices, the end piece is special. Thats what makes it the best part icon_biggrin.gif

I have to agree with Goober. It's my favorite part of the loaf, like the endcut on meatloaf! It's where all the character is... I like characters!

Goober? Why you gotta hurt me like that bruh?

So you can let it dry out after using the rest of the loaf and use it as a frisbee.

    I thought everyone knew this.

I can't wait for the rest of the bread to be gone! I've ruined the adjacent slices of bread making an endbread sandwich for myself... needless to say, my roomie was pissed. icon_biggrin.gif

Someone else can have my heel. It's always dryer than the rest of the loaf, but it does serve it's purpose. I could probably have worded that in a more suggestive way, but I'm too tired.

I am not a fan, but I will eat it if the other pieces are gone.

It exists because everything must have a beginning and an end, and bread ends the same way it began. I also plan to do this.

I'm gonna leave the same way I came in, screaming and bathed in blood. icon_eek.gif

It's especially a problem when you are down to the last two slices of bread and that end slice is one of them. Do you just use both slices and make a sub par sandwich or just use the one slice

That is the Jesus slice. It will pay for all their sins by being eaten first. It will also always be remembered because it is not like the rest. The End.
