Just found out about this app for iPods...my bicycle buddy uses it.
    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/textplus-free-texting-+-group/id314487667?mt=8

I found out cause I saw him at work today (he works at the Starbucks I frequent) and asked him why he never answers my calls, but always answers texts. Turns out he's only got an iPod (not the phone) and downloaded the app to have free texting.

As much as I text, I need that. icon_lol.gif

Mine has it built-in, and I use it daily for longer messages.

And no, that won't end texting+driving accidents. Those are caused more from READING the texts than typing them. And even with text2voice, you still have to proofread and correct a few words manually, which can be a pain in the ass.

Doesn't textPlus require frequent Wi-fi access in order to operate?
