If you read these and other articles, you might come to the conclusion that discussion with the left-wing extremists here is a total waste of time. My opinion - time is better spent being armed with the facts and making a tangible difference, such as making campaign phone calls, or if you live in a swing state, getting involved with local political groups.

    AARP's ObamaCare Endgame Revealed
    By Chuck Rogér

We now have a clear picture of the treachery in which AARP has engaged since President Obama took office. The Daily Caller reports that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has granted Medigap policy sellers, including the American Association of Retired Persons, exemption from ObamaCare-mandated federal supervision of insurance premium hikes. "Medigap" is an industry term for a type of coverage that helps pay medical costs not covered by Medicare.

Non-Medigap insurers, not exempted from ObamaCare's rate reviews, must justify rate increases. In effect, the HHS exemption gives AARP the ability to generate profits not achievable by non-exempted competitors.

It's important to remember that AARP helped push ObamaCare through Congress by contributing to a $121 million advertising campaign and paying for millions of dollars worth of Washington lobbying. AARP has betrayed the seniors whose interests the organization allegedly protects and positioned itself to make billions after playing along with the Obama administration's corporatist favoritism.

And what about right-wing extremists, who, for example, post completely baseless allegations about certain very prominent Democrat politicians being 'pederasts'? I take it you would condemn those too, Socal.

I'm beginning to think Socal isn't even a real profile. Just an invented one to cause disruption, malice, and spread lies.

He doesn't have legitimate arguments...whenever he is faced with facts he just redirects the topic or spins words to confuse people.

There's been nothing Socal has presented since my time on RJ that has panned out to be truthful, honest, or factual.

He uses right-wing media/groups to solidify his argument, all the while lambasting anyone who uses media/groups in arguments as being "left-wing extremists".

Does this sound like the behavior of a rational, 40+ year adult man? I don't think so.

+1 alot of these sock puppets are starting to get uncovered

"The conservaposse is group of older men with Republican views that constantly engage in futile attempts to argue with the rabid hordes of bloodthirsty liberals in the politics forum. Their arguments (flame wars) basically devolve into NO U within a few posts. That's when the conservaposse busts out their secret weapons: sockpuppets! While they deny their involvement in trolling, conservaposse members are often in command of multiple sock accounts simultaneously in an attempt to manipulate the site's apolitical members into hating the left. The rest of the site has clicked the "Ignore His Posts" button under each conservaposse member's name, however, and no one sees these attempts at subversion."

    I couldn't agree more !!!

You may remember a few times when some of us pressed him and his conservaposse to respond to questions that exposed his lame partisan propaganda and talking points. His and others response was a combination of silence, name calling, a declaration of ignoring and any other tactics but responding with honesty.

What we all should do is collectively quit responding to their bullshit or stick to poignant questions that clearly point out their lies, then refuse divert from the questions until they answer. Then watch how they obfuscate to avoid facing facts. In this way they expose themselves as the partisan fanatics they are.

I suggest the reader go over to the topic about the push toward the IRAN WAR. See how the partisans absolutly refuse to face facts, they ignore facts and base all of their pro Iran war posts on nothing but proven baseless propaganda.

This is so typical of the far right which seems like 'faithbased' religious belief systems, where their Ideology is completely 'faithbased' and facts make no dent in their beliefs. Its sad to witness such willfull ignorance among so many sheeple. These represent the great majority of far right Republican voters. I WILL NOT SEE IT UNTILL I BELIEVE IT, fits here.

Keep it going SoCal. It will not be the opinions and vice on RJ that will be important on November 7, 2012.

Keep the faith, post away, and ignore the trash.

Do these fools writing such obviously fact 'baseless' articles on partisan far right rags actually believe the whole of the US public are stupid enough to believe their BS ?

The media forwarding Romney / Ryan as serious candidates with serious options that may benefit the American Public represent only the corporate and top 2% wealth holders in the US. The more they and the partisan Repub/Christian Fundi/TBagger mouth pieces double down in favor of Romney/Ryan the more obviously shallow the candidates appear. THIS IS A SICK JOKE BEING PLAYED ON THE ELECTORATE.
