Kind of corny, but very well done. I would prefer something a little more intimate.

Public proposals are terrible. I'd say no just on principle icon_razz.gif

Even a classic one-on-one, bended-knee proposal with a ring, which I once actually got myself, puts the recipient on the spot. Fortunately I had no doubt about saying "yes", but replying "no" to this lovely guy would have been awkward & difficult, if I had rejected him. Maybe it's why some guys do these proposal stunts, to coerce an acceptance.

I did see a home video on TV of a flashy proposal that did get rejected, and the woman wasn't too gentle about it, didn't even smile, actually acted annoyed. Naturally the guy was crushed & humiliated in front of a big crowd, I wonder he didn't later kill himself, or at least leave town.

I for one... would say YES!

It wasn't a huge fancy to-do at some stadium... It was a cute production between family and friends... who took time and effort to see that I be happy with someone I love...

C'mon. It was fun and personal. And I'd rather have a guy who shouts it from the rooftops that he loves me... not because he wants a show of it, but because I get him that excited and fearless.

I'm not one for marriage in general, but this was hands down freaking cute!

This says a lot about the guy, that he's willing to work and effort for the person he loves, and that he was confident on what her answer would be. Besides one should only ask if you are confident the answer will be yes, otherwise after it makes the relationship weird.
