I disagree Rankoutsider, I weighed only 168 lbs when I wrestled a much stronger, bigger younger wrestler and won! He was 23 yo 230-135 lbs, solid muscle. I submitted him 3 times in a 5 minute match! If he had a little more Jiu-jitsu skill he might have won. Also in my class we have a 19 yo jiu-jitsu kid that weighs only 126 lbs. He submitted a guy weighing 240 lbs with a rare Naked choke1 Skill always wins over size, I know, I have won many matches against bigger and much stronger guys. The bigger you get, the harder it is for you to move fast. A big guy can not use his strength to defend himself if a little guy is on his back, choking out his neck from behind....

flexonyou..for the most part I agree. I have submitted guys at 250lbs. But their skills were limitedand I could stay out from under. At the moment I am working on keeping heavier guys in my gaurd and working out some way to sweep or submit. But handling the weight is really hard sometimes esp if the guy has some basic skill. Also, my previous instructer was a 145lb black belt and he had his way with EVERYONE. BTW rolling with you could prove an intresting fight. Since you are the guy above me now I think I'll answer the question with a yes

LOL, Just nahds and feet, body, lets wrestle, I want to see how good you really are. Most blue belts from our Jiu-jitsu class can win matches against brown and blck belts from other schools. My coach gives out belt only after years of training. Bring it boyyyyyyyyy..

If so, then yes.

I think I could handle yah and the bats. I already bludgeon my shins for Muay Thai with a rolling pin to build up scar tissue so I don't think the bat would be too much of a problem.
