Me too. And that song by Sia was a great way to end. It comes up on my iPod at least once every 2-3 weeks, and I'm still not sick of it. The only time I didn't like the show was when David was such a sniveling character and was kidnapped. I felt that storyline was over the top. If they'd been more convincing that David couldn't have escaped, or that he secretly was titilated by his kidnapping, maybe I would have understood what they were trying to do, but it just came across as sensationalistic to the point of exploitative.

THAT said, I still enjoyed the show and the buttons it pushed and the topics it explored. It was pretty fearless about getting under the skin. It felt pretty real at times. Nothing else comes close.

This one was one THE BEST endings to a show EVER! I cried... (when I originally watched it)

Man, that finale got to me! I watched the show on Bravo and the entire series was condensed into 1 season. I spent a lot of time with the Fisher's and watching it wind down like that had me boo-hooing.

That is such an amazing and deep show. I used to watch it all the time and I loved the questions it raised and how they never just spelled out all the answers.

My father just passed away recently and I was thinking of watching a few old episodes. Especially the first season when the Dad dies.

That show really makes you think...

SFU was one of the only shows that would have me glued to the set every time it was on Michael Ball The Writer was at his best doing that show

One of my all-time best shows EVER in the history of television was the episode Michael get car jacked by a squirrelly little hitchhiker and comes within an inch of being murdered in a dark alley

    Superb... icon_cool.gif

I loved that show, too - was one of only a few shows I've called "must see tv". The cast, the writing, the production all excellent.

ABSOLUTELY!!! I couldn't agree more. I cried at how touching and real this show felt to me. The numerous wonderful storylines aside, I grew up around, and very accepting of, death and didn't understand other emotions felt in regards to death. This show really helped me sympathize. It's probably the best acting seen on TV in decades, much less the best screenwriting.

    AMAZING SHOW!

I have the complete series on DVD.. I had started watching it when they were running it on Bravo and discovered how great it was. It's so easy to get hooked on.

I miss it as well....but at least it got a proper ending. It was , i think, the best ending for a show...and the most appropriate.
