This has had 2.6million views now.

Intelligence and Special Operations forces are furious and frustrated at how President Obama and those in positions of authority have exploited their service for political advantage. Countless leaks, interviews and decisions by the Obama Administration and other government officials have undermined the success of our Intelligence and Special Operations forces and put future missions and personnel at risk.

The unwarranted and dangerous public disclosure of Special Forces Operations is so serious -- that for the first time ever -- former operators have agreed to risk their reputations and go 'on the record' in a special documentary titled "Dishonorable Disclosures." Its goal is to educate America about serious breaches of security and prevent them from ever happening again.

Use of military ranks, titles & photographs in uniform does not imply endorsement of the Dept of the Army or the Department of Defense. All individuals are no longer in active service with any federal agency or military service.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/aug/20/special-operations-opsec-education-fund/group-says-obama-revealed-secret-information-holl/The Web video by the group Special Operations OPSEC says "Days after the (Osama bin Laden) raid, Hollywood was invited into the White House so that they could receive a briefing" that revealed intelligence sources and methods.

There is an element of truth to the claim because the producers did indeed visit the White House, met with national security officials and clearly got some cooperation from top brass at the Pentagon and CIA. However, we find no evidence for the main point of the claim, that the Obama administration engineered this and revealed intelligence sources and sensitive methods.

We rate the claim Mostly False.

    What a joke.....

    Mission Statement

We propose to create a standing non-partisan, independent watchdog organization entitled OPSEC. This organization would exist for two purposes:

First, we seek the removal of political benefit to those disclosing classified/sensitive information pertaining to special operations and intelligence activities.

Second, given the practice of public disclosure of classified or sensitive information pertaining to military or intelligence practices and methods by this administration.
    LMAO

    Special Operations (OPSEC) Political Committee
    Contributions are not tax deductible.
Not authorized by and candidate or candidate committee. Intelligent eh?

And these are the idiots who posted this crap? Good gawd riddler, how moronic can you get?icon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gif

I find it odd that lying under oath can get a person put in jail, but lying to boost votes for a Presidential election is accepted with no problem.

It's ratings like this that give one pause as to how partisan politifact has become. So they can't verify data from the White House as to whether or not information was provided to producers and therefore it is rated as false? Sorry, that just strikes me as more than a little odd. In the very least, they should at least rely on a statement from the White House that addresses these serious allegations.

Pathetic. It's not 2004. You're not up against the Kerry/Edwards campaign.

Everything the Right wing does in this election is just making it easier for Obama to get reelected. icon_lol.gif

Yep, oh purveyor of the truth. The problem is that most people can see that many of these leaks at least have the appearance of being politically motivated - and there have been a lot of them. Of course your track record on the pulse of the American public is weak at best - so me thinks the lady doth protest too much icon_rolleyes.gif

Yeah, I'm sure a random right-wing Canadian *really* has a pulse on the AMERICAN public. Hahahahaha.

Nobody in American outside of the "legitimate rape" Tea Party cares about these birthers in the military.

A cursory google search will find that the email is attributed to the same Ben Smith of the video. He has also appeared on Fox saying the same things. He even has a Facebook page to his name.

As for partisanship, you seem to have no trouble quoting politifact when it suits you.

Except I didn't claim to have a pulse on the American public - though I suspect I do have a better one than many. It's kind of amusing watching you beclown yourself though on so many issues that ultimately most people don't care about - especially as the economy continues to stagnate, the US government spends far more than it brings in, etc.

Well yes - I would - given Politifact's tendencies to tilt left - if even they are calling foul on issues and agreeing with the right, it tends to have far more credence. As for the snopes - I just looked at it - and again, it's a pretty weak claim of "false" using unattributed sources themselves. Meanwhile one book just came out that makes a bold claim that "Obama 'cancelled missions to kill bin Laden THREE TIMES after getting cold feet - until Hillary Clinton stepped in'"

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2191021/EXCLUSIVE-Obama-cancelled-missions-kill-bin-Laden-THREE-TIMES-getting-cold-feet--Hillary-Clinton-stepped-claims-explosive-new-book.html

Though this is a rumor I am guessing that the Clinton's are more than happy to support behind the scenes.

Actually, it's more funny to watch you continue to reveal your utter cluelessness about the American people (and your general ignorance) by spouting nonsense: a poll just came out pointing out that healthcare -- which includes the health of families, students, seniors, and women -- is but ONE of the major issues in the campaign: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/08/16/us-usa-campaign-medicare-idUSBRE87E1C020120816

In other words, the American people can walk and chew gum at the same time: we can find more than one issue important at once. I know this is difficult for you to comprehend, being that you are a narrow minded right-winger who cannot think any further than your obsessive Obama Derangement Syndrome allows. Not that it matters, since no American gives a rat's ass what some wingnut Canadian thinks anyway.

    Thanks for playing, though.

The funny thing is that people like you can't even be original about given your Bush Derangement Syndrome. Obamacare remains unpopular as ever and that probably bothers you greatly. I'm not sure who said the American people were unable to walk and chew gum at the same time but it wasn't I. I do however hope that the American people are able to prioritize what's important and I think they are. It is in this light that you show repeatedly how ridiculous, uneducated and small you really are. icon_wink.gif

The funny thing is that despite your claims not to care what I think you seem to insist on making personal attacks on me. But, better luck next time icon_lol.gif

You're clearly quite dumb. I didn't even mention George Bush -- is that the best you could come up with? Actually, Obamacare is significantly more popular than it was when originally rammed through according to the polls, so it is not "as unpopular as ever." That's a stupid and uninformed statement.

You implied that the American people can only find one issue important when you suggested that by bringing up issues other than the ones you mentioned, I was beclowning myself. Because you are right-wing Canadian who knows exactly jack squat about the American people, you were wrong, but nice attempt at backtracking. We will not be prioritizing based on what you or any Canadian thinks, trust me.

I won't comment on someone who lacks my college pedigree and who looks like he weighs about 100 pounds dripping wet calling me "uneducated and small" but I will say that you deserve every personal attack leveled your way. You should stick to posting nonsense articles from racist, homphobic websites instead of posting about what you think the American people think. At least that should be well within the limits of your single-digit IQ.

    Nice try, though.

Lol once again me thinks the lady doth protest too much. Here's at least one empirical fact - Obamacare IS as unpopular as ever which makes you the one who is "stupid and uninformed":

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/obama_and_democrats_health_care_plan-1130.html

As for hate driven? Don't you tire of playing the victim? If someone disagrees they're always racist? It's a pretty weak defense but it does complement your weak mind. The fact that as a Canadian I know more than you do must bother you considerably.icon_rolleyes.gif

Perhaps one day you'll be credible, but today is not that day. icon_wink.gif

All disclosures pale in light of Cheney's out of of Valerie Plame to shut down her husband Wilson's exposing Cheney's and Ledeens lieing propaganda about Iraq's puchase of 'yellow cake'.

After all Cheney's disclosure let stand the lies that led to a $3 Trillion dollar war in IRAQ and the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives and disrupted the entire world.

But how dare I point out facts to dispell as minutia and desparate hypocricy these republican efforts to make Obama look bad over some trumped up disclosure.
