Anyone have suggestions on where the best places to live in the US are for single gay men around 30. I've been in Scottsdale for around 7 years and am ready for a change. Still haven't met anyone special and I'm tired of being alone.

I've been in CaCa Grande since January, hung out in Tucson, Mesa, Tempe, Glendale, and Phoenix, and am happy to say that I'm moving back to Miami in two weeks.

I feel your pain. There are many nice people here, but nothing that compares to the awesomeness of South Florida.

DC is pretty great. Plus, there are plenty of jobs here too.

From experience, I'd have to say Denver and Boston are both exceptional; though I'd love to give any of the cities listed above a visit/fit for myself. I need a bit of Bohemia/lunacy in my social networks... like I get in Tucson.

I say don't give up. Are you ready for a change only because you've run out of guys to date? There may be one moving into your area sometime soon!

I'm in a similar situation to yours. I'm in the northern Phila burbs which presents its own challenges. Still, I haven't lost total hope.

I'm involved in some social things and believe it or not I met a gay guy thru a decidedly straight USTA event. We didn't click, but had it not been for playing tennis, I wouldn't have met him!

Attitude is important. Good luck on your new adventure if you decide to move.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. After going through massive life changing events (w/ PTSD in tow - joys of having your life threatened w/ a gun pointed at you), it's time for a change. I'm in Mpls, but by this time next year, it won't be. The joys of getting older ... you don't give a fuck anymore and you just focus on what's best for you.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Sounds like there a few places I'm going to have to visit. I've been to San Diego a few times but always with straight friends so I have no idea what the gay scene is like. Same goes for south Florida.

I was also surprised to see people mention Minneapolis. Never would have thought that area would hit this list. I'll have to check it out.

I did like the Seattle to Vancouver area a lot when I visited last month. Could be a possibility.
