That was pretty cool Metta8, eerily spot-on!

I turned out ENFJ, so evidently we're personality cousins lol

I definitely put more stock into Jungian theory as opposed to astrology/star charts so this was an interesting and more believable profile.

    Thanks for sharing

    ENTJ

Assertive and outspoken - they are driven to lead. Excellent ability to understand difficult organizational problems and create solid solutions. Intelligent and well-informed, they usually excel at public speaking. They value knowledge and competence, and usually have little patience with inefficiency or disorganization.

I found this to be very accurate as well.

    INFP
Quiet, reflective, and idealistic. Interested in serving humanity. Well-developed value system, which they strive to live in accordance with. Extremely loyal. Adaptable and laid-back unless a strongly-held value is threatened. Usually talented writers. Mentally quick, and able to see possibilities. Interested in understanding and helping people.

A longer desciption had some more modest aspects, and explained a few flaws. Still, I'll take it! :-)

haha, also an ENFJ here... and it is pretty much spot on (I've taken this test before and always get ENFJ). It's funny to me that they say "chameleon like" to the point of not revealing who you really are - a skill that would be totally useful on reality tv :)

Any other ENFJs want to go on Amazing Race?

INTP or INTP (depending on whats going on in my head when I take the test both are fairly rare in the general population only about 2% so the "normals" tend to see us as freaks or just very weird... "I" types are only 10% population so being as strong an "I" as I am makes most people run away before they have the chance to find out I'm a nice guy and can be a very good friend...

INTP - Thinker - Logical, original, creative thinkers. Can become very excited about theories and ideas. Exceptionally capable and driven to turn theories into clear understandings. Highly value knowledge, competence and logic. Quiet and reserved, hard to get to know well. Individualistic, having no interest in leading or following others.

INTJ - Scientist - Independent, original, analytical, and determined. Have an exceptional ability to turn theories into solid plans of action. Highly value knowledge, competence, and structure. Driven to derive meaning from their visions. Long-range thinkers. Have very high standards for their performance, and the performance of others. Natural leaders, but will follow if they trust existing leaders.

Yes I'm a "Nerd" and for a long time I considered the "Cocky Jocks" to be rather sub-human I took a lot of shit from them growing up...

At one point at work I had to work with an INFP Jock (we were in a team building class together that was big on MBTI modeling) we found we were more alike than different and Greg and I got to be buddies...

I should bring up as a kid I was short, chubby, and wimpy in addition to being a poster boy Nerd. At 5'5" my weight had gotten well over 220lb... I hated my self and what I saw in the mirror... and the "cocky jocks" took joy in re-enforcing my negative self image... When I finished college, got a job, and got out out on my own I got my weight down 130lb not "skinny" but far from chubby... I had adopted an anorexic eating style and bulimic aerobic exercise style... eat nearly nothing and do cardio to excess... <500cal/day and 25-30 miles/day on my 10 speed weekday and all day Sat. and Sun. wanted to be "defined" even if it was the same sort of "definition" the Gollem in LOTR had... Pretty sick yeah but it was a goal anything but fat and flabby... at 130lb I wasn't fat but I was flabby... and I was will to cut as much weight as require to see the ridges of ab's cutting my flat belly into beautiful cobbles of muscle... I got sick before I did too much damage... but my weight stayed under 150 for about 10years and I kept the routine on my bike...

Back to Greg, he was 5'5" also but 128lb 28" waist, 34' length and the definition I wanted more than just about anything. (At the time I was a bit over 150lb, 34"w and 28"l) Eventually I shared my body concerns with him and that I want to have the sort of leanness and definition he had and like the low to mid weight wrestlers I remembered from HS. Instead running away shocked and offended, slugging me, or laughing at me, started to talk to me seriously about making my dream a reality and agreed to help me make it happen... I sort of wanted to hug him but we both needed high level security clearances for our job and the people that grant the Clarence think to be gay is to be a security risk, I hadn't really accepted the idea that I wasn't straight (just severely repressed), I figured he was straight since most people are and decided that hug would be pushing my luck way too far...

I fixed some of my less than accurate perception with his help... Jocks are people to and some are really great guys, that part of my problem with jocks evolved a level of "body envy" I wanted to be a jock but the hate I had from the ones that had made my childhood miserable so much of the time couldn't cope with the idea of wanting to yet alone becoming something I feared and hated...

Anyway I understand now that it's okay for me to consider jock like builds to be attractive (even beautiful), to want to make my body more jock like, and that's why I'm here to finish the work I started with Greg too many years ago... the number of INF- types that appear to be here I hope I may find someone to help me finally crack the final obstacle in completing my transformation... Being able to keep the gains that know I can achieve when the I distracted by the pressures of work and other event. I think that I haven't been able to build a jock self image that will hold stable when I'm not consciously re-enforcing all the time. It falls back to chubby and wimpy me and my body follows...

    Sorry for the rambuling rant.

I would really like to do some brainstoming on how to crack this problem... I don't want get so close just see it slip away when I get stressed out again... If you have any thoughts I would really like to hear them...

Portrait of an INFP - Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving
    (Introverted Feeling with Extraverted Intuition)

    The Idealist

As an INFP, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you deal with things according to how you feel about them, or how they fit into your personal value system. Your secondary mode is external, where you take things in primarily via your intuition.

INFPs who function in their well-developed sides can accomplish great and wonderful things, which they will rarely give themselves credit for. Some of the great, humanistic catalysts in the world have been INFPs.

    Jungian functional preference ordering:

    Dominant: Introverted Feeling
    Auxiliary: Extraverted Intuition
    Tertiary: Introverted Sensing
    Inferior: Extraverted Thinking

*sigh* -- "... pursuing roads less travelled..." is my destiny after all.
