First, you pay them hundreds of dollars for vitamin B complex,E and C that you can get at CVS for ten bucks. After that you have no money for food and viola......belly fat gone!! icon_eek.gif

If Paleo diet, exercise, and strength training doesn't cut the belly fat, nothing will.

I think you are talking about the ads with the illustrations..

it is "The Every Other Day Diet.." you eat 700 calories (basically starve yourself) a few days a week and then one or two days you can eat whatever you want for one meal, so that your weekly caloric intake would be the equivalent of whatever would be necessary for you to maintain or lose body weight.
    That's the crux of it.

I think it was for very light exercisers.. I tried it for a week and was hungry all the damn time!

I think the same marketers who put out those "Trainers Hate Him! Language Professors Hate Him! Cambridge Scientists Hate Him!" banner ads also put out those "Weird Tip" ads.

I thought so as well until I discovered Paleo
Diet which does just that without a whole lot of exercise.

A no none-sense approach to body fat control:
    Some of this might seem like a secret but it should be common sense;
If you really want to get ripped, you need to limit your calories and spread your food consumption more through out the day. ie eat smaller meals 5 to 6 times a day. If you're living like an athlete then this will be much easier to do since your calorie intake is already higher than when you're inactive. Athletes typically workout 3 to 5 hours everyday if not longer and some can consume up to 3500 calories/day. Also for everyone, and I mean everyone working out to build their bodies, you must take a multivitamin everyday. Part of the muscle building process utilizes key vitamins and minerals and if they aren't present in your diet, then your body can become catabolic and start eating the muscle size to accomplish the repairs of newly worked out muscles. Another great supplement would be to start taking BCAA with all of your meal, its keeps the good amino acids (proteins) circulating in your blood.
Get a weight scale if you don't already have one and weigh yourself every morning and right it down, date and weight. Then if you really want to work on your diet, keep a food log of what you ate and when and review it when you weigh yourself. Reflect what you ate, and how you can do better today.

I have personally used the program and it works, and I've lost to date 55 lbs

    Yes.

    Not necessarily, see intermittent fasting/Leangains.

Overtraining if you're looking for hypertrophy.

No, unnecessary if you have a balanced diet.

Not necessary, but it does help with DOMS, in my experience.

There's an app for that. There's more than one app for that, actually.

Cool, but there is more than one way to skin a cat.
