Lady boys were the catapult that started the civil rights movement for gays (Stonewall).

I dated one (lived together 3.5 years) but couldn't handle the feminine nature. That's when I realized I didn't care about "dating" in the traditional sense...I just wanted a "best friend" who had similar interests as myself...including sexual interests (ie. not emotional about everything, just enjoyed each other's company).

Lady boys have a special place in my heart. I applaud their courage to express who they are...even the straight guys who have natural "fem" mannerisms (and there are several).

It's the guys who "had" masculine mannerisms till they came out then traded their balls for boy pussies that I have trouble with. Being gay doesn't make a person feminine; and "becoming" fem after coming out is not a requirement...regardless of how much flack you get in the gay bars (and yeah, I've been shunned a few times for not being 'fem' enough).

    +1

The only thing is, I allowed myself to show my more feminine side after I came out. I guess it was a phase...because I wasn't ashamed of my inner Queen. Plus, there were all kinds of gay themed movies when I came out: Priscilla, To Wong Foo, Birdcage...with so many great lines. I loved acting them out for laughs.
These days, I just let myself be as I am. If the Queen is at her throne...so be it.

I'm a fan of drag queens. Like Paul said, we owe them a lot for paving the way to modern gay rights. icon_smile.gif

It's interesting to look at from an artistic perspective, but I think people who find themselves sexually attracted to a half man half woman have some wires twisted in their brains. But hey, if that's what floats your boat, I support you all the way. Leaves more men for me. icon_wink.gif

    Hahaha...
I think I'm most of the time straight acting, most of the people I know wouldn't beleive me when I told them I was gay buuuuut sometimes it's just inevitable to let the inner queen out especially withs hags around lol.

I don't feel the need to be segregated just because I'm feminine. ♥

I'm not segregating I'm just making a forum for the feminine guys to talk since many forums on RJ are made mainly for the masculine guys dont be so negative! icon_biggrin.gif

Wow, I agree... except I don't see it as twisted, so much as just "different".

I will say this: the Emmett Honeycutts of the world strike me as much more fun, heartfelt, and expansive lays than the Brian Kinneys. I mean, sure, he can hit your body in all the right spots and give you intense pleasure, but so can Emmett. AND you won't hate yourself afterward.
