Tropical Storm Isaac will likely not reach hurricane strength when it crosses over Key West. It's still headed that way, but better news than the hurricane predicted at one point. I believe TropicalMark is down there now, securing his house.

Next stop after KW looks like Mobile, Alabama, where it WILL be a hurricane, according to current modeling. Best wishes to RJers who live there.

I chaired our own hurricane committee meeting yesterday, to happily announce no storm preparations are needed, although we'll continue to monitor for any unexpected shift in Isaac's path. In the meantime our replacement project of several hundred condo windows with hurricane-resistant glass continues, which my partner authorized. It's been delayed due to building permit hassles, and it'd be tragically ironic if a hurricane struck now, while the work was still ongoing, and non-upgraded windows failed like in the last hurricane, causing community damage.
