    Well, it does show you have far we have come. They do need to add more current articles at the bottom of it.

    But I was not aware that it was common practice to kill gay people in the US. I remember learning about slavery in school but I don't remember it ever being mentioned that gay people were routinely killed. Historically, progress has been very slow. Today, progress is moving faster than ever, even though it may not seem like it.

    I don't believe that history should be swept under the rug. We should learn from it and hopefully not repeat past mistakes.
