    I always LOVED Godfather's Pizza growing up. Soooo good. Still love it, but no locations back in Portland deliver to my address anymore...A few of them have closed and it's very disappointing.

    I was really into corn dogs too. Both the normals ones on the stick and the little mini ones. icon_smile.gif

    Anthony's Pizza (army chain) and Burger King Chicken Fingers...way before they screwed up the original tenders.

    Cornbread smothered with stewed tomatoes as a side dish to fried fish.

    Comfort food.

    My favorite dish was ham and cabbage. The ham was one of those little daisy hams, which is a small shoulder ham. The ham would be boiled in water, and toward the end, cabbage cut into quarters, potatoes, and carrots would be cooked in the broth. We'd eat the ham with Coleman's English Mustard.

    My grandmother's Peanut Butter cake was a favorite by all of us grandchildren.

    We have the recipe and yet no one can figure out why hers is so much better. Surely she didn't leave out an ingredient or two.... hmmmm.... icon_twisted.gif

    In hindsight, the stuff was kinda gross;

    but I grew up on, Franko-American canned Spaghetti w/ Velvita cheese. Occasionally, Marge would slice some hotdogs in it too . . .
