I'm 26 years old and a professional dancer. I'm always striving to keep my body in shape but in the last couple of years I have wanted to get bigger and stronger.

Some people I have spoken too say there were never really able to gain as much muscle as they wanted in their mid 20's and it wasn't until they were 28-30 before they really started being able to make vast changes to the body!

I work so hard in the gym and just want to be able to put on an amazing gun show!! haha! ;)

I think sometimes I lack will power in my nutrition! Any advice or pointers? Stories of your own to help inspire me?!

Make sure you are drinking lots of fluid during workout, consuming enough protein to repair the muscles, and also getting 7-8 hours of sleep. People usually don't take the last part as seriously as they should, but you need to SLEEP for your muscles to get to work on repairing themselves after being ripped apart during a good workout.

And you need to eat more (quantity) as well as more (quality) -- lean protein, good fats, etc.

I would suggest looking into a "Hard Gainer" routine.
Gingers either get built like giants or are hard gainers.

It doesn't get easier. It gets harder. The more ripped you get, the harder I get. icon_biggrin.gif

You will soon get into a routine and missing a sesion will feel like cheating! Especially when you have been at it for a few years and start experimenting with anabolics
