Score again for Chris Matthews. The republican dude got so owned by CM. He looked like he was going to piss his pants at the end knowing he was clearly out of his league with CM in the debate.

And yet another example of why the Republicans promote and embrace racism. If someone isn't white, Protestant and male....they don't matter and do not exist to them. Repulbicans are a stain on the bedsheet of progress.

Out of that entire panel of "journalists" the only one who did his job and who called out Priebus on his party's blatantly racist and false welfare attack ads - was Chris Matthews.

The other supposed "journalists" sat there harrumphing and tsk-tsking and acting offended that Matthews wasn't being very nice to Priebus.

FYI you pathetic MSM "journalists" - LYING to the American people is offensive.
Lying to the American people is what's not nice.
How about you start doing your damn jobs and start informing the American people about the unprecedentedly dishonest campaign that Romney is running?

Matthews equated the negative mention of foodstamps or welfare as racism. How absolutely mindblowingly ridiculous. It only served to betray his innately racist predispositions -- he obviously believes that blacks and non-whites somehow "OWN" the welfare or foodstamp status when it's complete bullshit. Most people who collect welfare and are on food stamps are white.

    Yup.
Mock is trying desperately to deny the long history that exists of the Repub party using the welfare issue to play the race card.

The central issue of the Repub party's infamous Southern Strategy is trying to spin white voters into believing that their tax dollars are going to fund welfare checks for black people who don't work for a living.

As Mock states - the reality is that the largest racial group receiving welfare assistance is whites - but that fact has never stopped the Repubs from trying to stir up feelings of racial animus by spinning white voters into thinking that everyone on welfare is black or Hispanic.

And of course with a black president - the Repubs couldn't resist trying to spin white voters into thinking that the black president is passing policies that help black Americans and that are anti-white.

    Chris Matthews is correct.
The Romney campaign is clearly playing the race card - even though they have to LIE in order to do it.

What got me about the exchange was why in hell did Chris Matthews back down when the Repub kept pushing that Obama's 'Obamacare' is supposedly European influenced when in actuality its nearly a mirror example of 'Romneycare', that Romney put through in Mass while Governor, Romney had even went so far as to state that the "mandate" was necessarry to its success. MANDATES WERE A REPUBLICAN IDEA.

But Chris Matthews sat on that pertinent fact and chose instead to bear down on a race card. WHAT IS WITH OUR DEM BACKERS, are they afraid to expose Republican Hypocrisy ??

Well, you get credit for a fertile imagination, but certainly not an argument. Your argument is a non-argument. If you automatically think about blacks or non-whites as somehow being "the welfare people" then you're already racist in your mind.

    There you go again.
    Trying to rewrite history.

The Repub's use of the racist Southern Strategy is a well established fact.
The Repubs have even admitted it themselves.

It's sad the extent to which Repubs like you ignore facts and try to rewrite history so you can live in an alternate pro-right-wing reality.
