RickRick91 saidWhat a horrible bitch Ann Romney is - telling Latino Anericans that they need to "get past some of their biases" and start voting Repub.
Excuse me, honey?
Jen Bush is correct.
It's the REPUBS who need to get past their biases.
We've seen from Mitt Romney all through this campaign that he supports the most extreme anti-Latino policies and rhetoric.
He's been in lockstep with the far-right on the immigration issue and he's given Latino voters every reason to vote against him.
Jen Bush can see the writing on the wall.
He knows that when this election is over the pundits will point out that if Romney had gotten more Latino votes he could've won.
As it is he's only getting about 28% of the Latino vote.
Bush was able to win with 41% of the Latino vote.
McCain lost with 31%.
As of now Romney is doing worse with Latino voters than McCain and will lose because of it.
Jeb Bush is putting himself in the position of being able to say "I told you so" after the election.
Turnout is the key, especially in Florida.
I'm surprised Jeb has suddenly embraced the Latino community. It was while he was Governor, he ordered his minions to cause problems in many Latino leaning precincts in the Orlando area back in 2000 (to help George, of course). Many voters were harassed at precincts in the Buenaventura Lakes area in Osceola County and were told they "would be deported if they voted."
The vast majority of Latinos voting in Buenaventura Lakes are originally from Puerto Rico.....a US territory......Oops!!
