I am left handed but I am often restricted from using it in my parents presence. My left hand is deadly

LOL at those credit card machine pens. I try to remember to put them back so they're ready for the next lefty (the so-called "wrong-way"), as an act of micro-rebellion against the consumer-industrial dextrocracy.

My first-grade teacher tried to convince me that I was doing this backwards. I didn't believe her icon_rolleyes.gif

As a young adult and later I was sometimes asked why I write a backwards check. WTF.

Oh the joy of being left handed. Never been a problem with me except for the occasional pencil/ink smudge.

    Thankfully I'm ambidexterous

Though not a "worst", when I use a mouse with my laptop (I don't like the trackboard) the laptop's fan often comes on and blows hot air on my left hand. Pretty annoying.

And to think there are many places in the world that teach kids never to use their left hand for anything!

I'm cross dominant. My right hand is the dominant hand for most basic and essential tasks (e.g. writing, eating), but I use my left hand for a lot of other tasks that don't get done as efficiently with my right hand. I'm not really ambidextrous in any way. Unfortunately it's either one hand or the other.

I'm naturally right handed, but taught myself to sign my name backwards, perfectly, with my left hand.

That used to be my signature on homework assignments in high school. icon_lol.gif

Does anyone even really use the numberpad on a keyboard? Even though I'm primarily right-handed, I can't recall ever using the numberpad much at all! I almost always use the top row of keys.

Math people use it. It's like a calculator keyboard.

Ah. I'm not a math person. Even then, when I have to do math, I have to do it on a piece of paper. For some reason math doesn't make sense on a screen when I can't manipulate a problem quite the same way I can on paper. Not to mention I might as well make use out of the calculator I paid $100 for back in high school icon_redface.gif

    Best Thread Ever!!!!!!

Also, lefty scissors don't work. icon_evil.gif

A lot of lefties that I know (including me) just gave up and learned how to use right handed scissors, with our right hand.

    lol....
