    Uh-oh, Repubs!
Only 25 million watched Mitt's big speech.
39 million watched McCain's speech four years ago.

The American people just don't like Mitt Romney.

And yet Gallup still has Obama and Romney tied.

Where is Obama's double-digit lead if he's such a great president that everyone wants to vote for?

How would you know? You aren't even living in the USA.

Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans are stopping any voter registration at all.

McCain's speech got 39 million viewers four years ago - but he still lost the election.
Romney's speech only got 25 million viewers.

The numbers look awful for Romney.
He trails in most polls and election forecasts predict Obama will win.

The fact that millions fewer cared enough to watch Romney's speech is telling.
And of course it's impossible for Romney to win new supporters when so few people even saw his speech - and the headlines about the convention today are focused on the Eastwood train wreck not on Romney.

How do "the numbers look awful" when Obama and Romney are tied according to Gallup (the most non-partisan poll out there)?

    Yup.
    The bitch is back!

Poor Southbeach couldn't resist coming back to the RJ Forum to try to do some damage control for the Repubs after their disastrous convention.

It's a sad and disappointing day for Repubs like Southbeach.

Yep, sounds like the asshat is back. Go away! You aren't welcome or wanted here. Period! Leave!

Two things came out of their little affair in Tampa: The obvious lies from Ryan, but so many others in the party think Mittens will lose! The blubber butt Governor of New Jersey couldn't stop talking about himself in his speech and the Second Coming Of G.W. Bush, Rick Perry, said he would strongly consider a run in 2016. There's confidence for you!

If Romney is so awful, why are the polls so tight? It's freaking hilarious watching you lefties squirm while putting the best spin possible on the cold hard reality that Obama has a very serious challenge on his hands.

Not only is it mildly irritating for other RJers, but more importantly, it is extremely disrespectful to the people whose pictures he is (they are) poaching.

The democrats were the only ones who watched it, just to size up the enemy. No one actually likes Romney. The people who throw their vote away on Romney are only doing so because they're against Obama.

What is pathetic is that we have a media bought by 3 to 1 $$$$ in favor of the Corporations and the biggest donor the dual citizen Israeli Firster ADELSON which is having a negative effect of getting out the facts.

ARE YOU PLEASED WITH THE LIES WINNING THE DAY ? It is telling however that in spite of the 3 to 1 $$$$$ spending Romney is still behind.

You wimpy spined apologists for the sham which is now our American political picture are an amazingly willfully blind group.

Its people like you who are pushing for a repeat of the Bush tragic era that put us in this mess, because Romney's advisors are Bush left overs right down to his god damn dual national NEO CONS who want more war.

The truth icon_wink.gif --- As for Romney's speech bombing...again...lefty spin. He did a fine job and, more importantly, the convention served a vital purpose in showing the human side of Mitt Romney, the man.

I don't think he changed anybody's opinion on what type of person he is. Of course to Romney's own base, he looks like a gentle, kind, and generous soul, however you guys have thought that from the beginning.

So the RNC really served no purpose at all, other than rallying his own base who was already going to vote for him.

Edit: And Clint Eastwood's abysmal "chair" speech was an utter disaster. I'm surprised they didn't sweep him off the stage like the pile of dust he is. What's even funnier is that CuriousAnti-gayJock is so blinded by everything Mitt, that he won't even admit Eastwood's speech was nothing short of a pile of rubbish.
