The feds have released the Wolf from the endangered species list in the Great state of Wyoming. Except for protected areas on federal lands, the wold can be shot on site due to extrensive predation of livestock. On October 1, permitted hunting of wolf will be allowed on the federal reserves in Wyoming.

Wolf is not on my hunt list. One does not kill a wolf for meat. Besides, I have several friends -- although it has been some time since I last saw them -- that have red wolves as pets. (You wouldn't beliee the things they try to eat.)

On the other hand, in the last two days we have thinned the feral hog population in Thomas County by 37. The meat is being prepared for the local food pntry.

    Go figure.
