So Obvously Britney is one of the newest judges on the show.
I think its going to be a really great thing to see her on a weekly basis in a whole new light, people will get to see her sweet/ funny side that so many people have forgotten about

I think shes going to do great and bring in a ton of new fans to the Show!

Whos excited? How do you think she will do

I think she'll be good as a judge, but she needs that exposure honestly. I feel like all that hiding wasn't good for her at all. Bring on the Britneyicon_biggrin.gif

There gonna have 2 do some careful handling with here. I work at a venue where they held some of the audition takings a few months ago and she had 3 or 4 guys around her helping her walk to/from her seat and she made some very vacuous comments to the contestants.

Best show will be the tension between her and Demi Levato. The tension between them was brutal and Brittany looks like a rough 30 something fading star next to the fresh faced Levato. That battle will make for great TV!

i think having britney spears judge a singing competition is the equivalent of having megan fox teach an acting master class

You seem like a Britney fan. She is okay and I kind of just want to see how it will all play out. The commercials are stupid of her though and a big *icon_rolleyes.gif*

But, for more important news: Nicki Minaj will be judging AI. I never watched that show, but I will now. Sadly, she is not a singer and shouldn't be hosting any sort of talent competition even though she is a guilty pleasure artist of mine. SMH.

I think she will do great to be honest. I dont think her and demi even fight at all, their are interviews released and they both seem to really have a lot of respect for each other and in other videos they are laughing together and actually seem to gang up on simon a lot lol.

It will be a good thing to see another side of her that gets hidden and protected a lot

    Exactly !

I like Britney as a person but she doesn't have the best vocal chops now does she ?

That said I'm looking forward to seeing a bitchier side of Britney. Usually she's so inoffensive and bland. I want to see her have an actual opinion for once.

Oh search youtube , ive seen 15+ trailers for the show and Britney def gets bitchy its kind of cool to see.

Also the show isnt strictly a "singing" comp. Of course singing is one of the main concepts but they are looking for that "special something" and lets be honest Britney has that "special something" the "X factor" and I think she will have a pretty god eye for talent and a possibly rising star.

People have been talking about Britney since she was like 10 years old on the X factor...Shes knows what shes doing

Wouldn't it be kind of an insult if she kicks off people who actually sing live on stage?

I'm in total agreement. If I were an aspiring musical artist I wouldn't care less what Britney Spears had to say.

You know with everything that's happened to her and the majority of the type of news that has been on her in the past, I think this show will give viewers a more refreshing perspective on her personality.

Yes, granted she may not have the best voice, but still it's hard work to tour and record and shoot videos so she definitely has lots to contribute in that regard.

Plus I think this kind of publicity will be healthier for her than what's she's gotten before, it'll make her come across more relatable. Hopefully anyway.

Judges who can sing isn't exactly the point, imo, otherwise we wouldn't have had Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Dannii Minogue, etc.

I don't really care whether she remains on the panel or not. I'll probably catch one or two episode. I'll watch more if it continues to grab my attention

I wish nothing but the best for her. When it comes down to it, she seems like a very nice person. I WILL be watching for Britney...and I hope she throws some shade over Demi and other artists too, that would be hilarious.

I love her so looking forward to it and she knows the game well since she's at the top of it. But how is someone capable to judge a show when they aren't mentally capable to handle their own finances?

As someone who is a veteran pop star (14+ years in the music industry and still banging out hits and breaking records), she deserves to be in that seat more than anyone else. Her lipsynching aside, she is still a great performer and once was the greatest female performer out there...with the kind of stage presence she has had, who could honestly be able to top her and mentor these contestants than her?
