I wanted to make a thread about deeds any of you fellas have committed in your lifetime. I can think of something that happened recently that i define as a good deed.

On August 31st, 2012 i was shopping at Wal-Mart buying airtime/minutes for my phone, food, and some cds when the intercom suddenly came on speaking of a child that had gotten lost inside the store. I love children a great deal and when i heard everything that the intercom had finished saying. I stopped what i was doing and went to go search for the lost child. I went down aisle after aisle calling for the little lost girl named Kendra. I then stopped for a minute and said to myself "if i was 4 yrs old and inside a store, where would i go?" I then headed to the toy section and saw her playing with dolls and Cabbage Patch kids. I asked the little girl was she okay and she said that she was fine but was sad that she couldn't find her mommy. I told her i will take her to do just that i picked her up and carried her throughout the store until i ran across her mother who was grateful that i found her daughter but i wasn't shy in telling her she should be more responsible in looking after her child.

How about you guys? Do you have any good deeds that you would like to share? If so feel free to post them here icon_smile.gificon_cool.gif

JustStartin saidI feel more comfortable sharing a good deed someone else did for me than I do telling of my own good works.

I once arrived at the airport having left my wallet at home. No wallet, no licence, no boardy planey. I had already parked in the Economy parking lot, which meant I had no money to even get out of the lot to drive back home! I approached a couple who were just getting out of their car, and, rollerbag in hand, told them my tale of woe. They readily and cheerfully gave me a few bucks. A small, simple thing -- and one that i really, really appreciated. icon_smile.gif

Aww that was sweet of them. icon_smile.gif

I swear, when I become a multimillionaire and I go out to eat at restaurants, my minimum tip will always be $300 lol I feel so bad that those people work hard and have to put up with shitty customers and not really get compensated for it...I can't see myself working in a restaurant at all....

Yes, because if a customer got rude with me, it would go from eating great to The First 48 icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

3 nights ago there was a terrible fire at a farm a few miles from my house. I was driving past and saw it, and it was devastating, it took 6 fire depts to control the blaze. The house collapsed in on itself and burned to the ground, as well as the surrounding hillside. I thought people must have died. I returned the next day to check, and the fire dept was still there putting out hotspots. I ran into family of the owners who told me the elderly couple who lived there had barely made it out with the clothes on their backs, after a passing motorist stopped and woke the couple and got them out. After realising they had nothing, I went home and raided my closets and brought them a bunch of clothes. They were very appreciative, and it made me feel really good, not only that they were alive due to a good samaritan, but also that I was able to help them.
