Self-proclaimed messiah, "Moonies" cult leader, founder of the Washington Times, called gays "dung-eating dogs." Bye.

    SUMMER 1978
A super-friendly girl approached me on the street, with this offer:

"Our group of international students is hosting a dinner tonight. Why not come and learn about our charitable works.....to see if you'd like to get involved? "

WHY NOT? I thought.....and so I came for dinner.

After a fun two hours of mingling......THERE WAS A MOST FORTUNATE SURPRISE:

A couple of the groups members were going back up to "THE FARM".......and best of all, they were going to drive vans and had plenty of room for all of us who wanted a weekend getaway.

    ONE WEEK LATER.............I ESCAPED.

My new friends had no intention of letting me go. I had to con them into thinking they were returning me to the city to collect my possessions-----and that I had to collect my things personally. (Prior to this, my 'guards' insisted that I write a note to my new roommate to allow them to collect my stuff.)

I can easily understand how many got trapped into the Moonie Cult.
