LISTEN AGAIN or read Clint's speech at the RNC and you might notice some very strong efforts at a mixed message........perhaps even mocking Romney.

Plenty of reporters on the scene almost immediately began the speculation. This one from Jon Christian:

"And, intentionally or not, he certainly touched a nerve when he admonished the convention not to vote for someone they didn’t particularly like.

“What I’m saying is we don’t have to be mental masochists and vote for somebody that we don’t even really want in office, just because they seem to be nice guys, or maybe not such nice guys, if you look at some of the recent ads going out there,” he said. "

YES, CLINT EASTWOOD IS A VERY OLD MAN......but he's also a lifelong performer ------with no recent history of this sort of rambling 'fuck-up'.

And Clint might have had some very good reason to fuck back against that assembled group of bigots and assholes known as The Republican Convention:

Anyone remember how Clint was savaged by Republicans after his SuperBowl ad for Chrysler? The ad was seen by most Repugs as an endorsement for President Obama's lifting the economy. Repugs went hysterical.

Was Clint delivering some 'pay back' directly to their scowling faces?

    from the ABC News report:

"Republicans worried it disrupted the flow of the final night at the national convention.

"I personally think Clint Eastwood was a mistake before he came out," former California Senate candidate Carly Fiorina said today on "Meet the Press."

Speaking on the same show, former presidential candidate Newt Gingrich called the performance "a distraction."

I think the "D" word Gingrich should have used was "disaster".
