I dream of a day when it becomes unacceptable to stomp on the GLBT community to gain power. Well...I can dream....

    LOL

Or maybe he approves this message.
Romney will go along with anything if he thinks it'll get him elected.

But, but... this can't be right, can it? The Republicans on this site have been telling us for the last 3 years that Obama is no friend of gays, and has done nothing for us, regardless of the repeal of DADT, abandonment of DOMA, and other pro-gay initiatives. Obama hasn't been enthusiastic enough gay marriage and gay civil rights issues according to them.

And so we gays should vote for the gay-hating Republicans instead, who want to outlaw gay marriage & civil unions forever through a Constitutional amendment, and deny us other civil rights based on our orientation. The illogic of that argument is already mind boggling.

But now Republicans are saying Obama is trying to force gay marriage on the US. Well, which is it? Obama can't be both pro-gay marriage and anti-gay marriage at the same time, can he?

Welcome to Republican land, where whatever shifting story will get them elected is the story they'll try to sell you. So now Obama is TOO pro-gay, after years of not being gay supportive enough, according to Obama haters on this site? Sweet mother in heaven... icon_rolleyes.gif

I agree with one of the top comments on the video. Notice when he begins to say "... That's not the change I voted for either."

He seems unsure, shaken up, and pauses. The twist of the video is that both of these individuals are actually gay. Directed by M Night shyamalan

"We can vote for someone with values."

I guess Republican values are about exclusion.

elvis_tlh saidI don't think he is because if he really wanted to do that he would have done it during his first 2 years in office when he controlled the Congress.

Sadly, I don't think he cares much about gay marriage - only about gays voting for him.

I agree that he, like other politicians, uses it as a pawn in reaching his goal of reelection, but at least he isn't personally against it.
That's what politicians do, and it's up to the voters to choose the best, or the least worst.

elvis_tlh saidI don't know if he is personally against it or not. All we have to go by is what he says and unfortunately the Vice President stepped in it and forced President Obama to "quickly evolve" on this issue. The whole thing smelled very fishy to me.

Wow, they're really embracing their stupidity/ignorance with this one. How the mighty have fallen... wonder if they Republicans are aware how stupid this ad sounds despite the subject matter?

SaggyTitness has been using the pix of black guys lately to express himself.
The older gentleman sitting a diner table(omarking) offered an odd photo choice-----but Saggy uses whatever he can find.

Then there was his Classic, GORDONLEE......with greats pix of a Latin queen.

Saggy, SaggyTitness, IF you don't want to post your own pix, just use one of an old KKK dude. It would represent you better.

    LOL
Well the pics on socal's many sock accounts are all much easier on the eyes than the saggy booby pic on his own profile.

And on topic - the Democrats are fighting for equality.
They're not trying to force anything on anyone.
They just support full equal rights for gay Americans.

It's the hateful religious right Repub bigots who are trying to break down the American ideal of separation of church and state so they can force their warped ugly version of Christianity on all Americans.
They want to turn the US into a theocracy.

Lets not forget Mrs Bucket that you yourself have told us how you had spent most of your life looking down on us homosexuals 2when you were straight, for the better part of your life, as being dirty and beneath you. Now you have decided to make a lifestyle change, and now want to be seen as one of us; albeit you are not and never can be a Bona Fide Homosexual, you want to lift us out of the gutter.

So Stubs, how are you any better than the conservatives you now behold so much contempt for?

I myself find your actions nothing more than self serving! But.... there is one consistency in your long life.
