This made me break out in a cold sweat!

It's truly sad how humans have completely monopolized the land. We really are edging off all animals to the point where they can't even live. icon_sad.gif

What flying rotating person filmed this at the exact moment these ducks made their highly improbable flawless cross? This has a whiff of fake.

The poor things. Don't think the little ones are able to fly yet.

Lucky they survived! Kinda cute how the baby ducks just get blown off their feet whenever a strong wind just passes by. Makes me want to own a duckling.

I'm betting Mama Duck takes that exact trip across the highway regularly, as she seemed to know exactly where she was heading. The ducklings, not so much! lol

Can't stop laughing! I feel sympathetic/concerned for the baby ducks, but also funny how they get blown away by cars. Imagine if the mother duck hadn't noticed one of her baby is missing from the group. 1-2-3... yea should be all of them

Actually it's not improbable at all. Animals cross roads everyday knowing it's dangerous, and many of them get killed. I live in an area with a lot of ducks hatching in the spring, and they always follow the mother single file on foot a mile or more to the lake. The mother does look for cars, but of course cars are too fast sometimes. Squirels also time their crossings and try to dodge, with some success. It's actually far more improbable someone could stage that. Ducks are wild animals who travel 1000s of miles each year. They can't be trained. They can only be observed, whether in captivity or the wild.

    Oh my.

Ducks are so cute and very nice little critters. We have four of them. They live in the fenced-in, abandoned pool at our farm. I hope they stick around, even after they learn to fly.
