President Obama's post-convention bounce continues to grow as new polls show his lead widening.

Even the biased pro-Repub Rasmussen shows Obama's lead growing.

No wonder Mitt Romney is getting desperate.

    This is great news.
Every day seems to bring more encouraging developments for team Obama.
I attribute his recent surge to the best political convention in my lifetime, full of incredibly moving and sincere speakers -- most of whom, incidentally, publicly endorsed civil rights for gay Americans. Did anyone at the RNC even mention that gay people exist? If they did, I did not hear it.

Maybe this is why Romney and conservative groups pulled their ads out of Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Yes they did, with one of the most anti-LGBT GOP platforms ever.

Which means Obama has a lead of about 6 points - because Rasmussen's polls are biased with a pro-Repub tilt of a couple of points.

The differences in the conventions and the messages of exclusion and inclusion, us vs. them, class against class and one country were very stark.

In some elections - the conventions have been the turning point of the election.
This time looks to be another example of that.

The GOP convention was Romney's last best chance to define himself in positive terms - and instead of doing that - he (and his entire party) came out of the Repub convention looking even more unappealing.

The great success of the Democratic convention coming just a week later was another nail in Romney's coffin.

And of course Bill Clinton's brilliant job fact checking all the lies being told by Romney/Ryan was devastatingly effective.

So far I have seen a 3 point bounce for Obama

    ....... Romney nuthin

So as it goes the republicans have never been ahead in the polls since the nomination
That is VERY foretelling for the election
and PLUS he has been falling behind in important swing states
    Ohio he is falling behind
In PA and in MI the republicans have pulled their ad buying because they are seeing that it is probably a lost cause

Now that more people are tuning in they're seeing for themselves which is the better candidate. This is great news! icon_biggrin.gif

And once the debates occur . . . it will be so ovah for Romney people will wonder "WTF?"

Remember in the beginning, all the Republicans presidential candidates trashing and bashing each other while displaying themselves as incompetent, lying, discrimminatory, prejudiced fools - nothing's changed: and, it never will.

You mean Americans aren't as dumb as republican leaders want them to be.
