Usually three sets of 12, but at one time about thirty. Sometimes three sets of 5 with a forty five pound plate attached to a belt, but that's when I'm feeling really ambitious

I used to be able to do 30 strict, 75 with a kip. Now I can barely get to 10, and my kipping coordination is gone.

Hehehe my bad, I would say at one time 30-40. icon_eek.gif Getting to fifty like GigoloAssassin would be sweet though! Wonder if anyone here can do pull ups with one arm

I've never tried to do more than 10 in one go. I've been able to do 3 sets of 10 every other day for the last 5 years- overhand grip slightly more than shoulder width apart. Had given me a very powerful frame icon_biggrin.gif

I'll try next time to see how many I can do. I hate it when I do my set and a guy comes up after and does it too but by swinging his legs and using his body as momentum... I never understood that...

You just have to keep doing them to get your number up. The problem is the more muscle mass you carry, the heavier your load.

Just keep thinking of the 50 different back muscles you are working on at the same time and that great V you are developing.

    Keep smiling!

It begins my once a week back routine... Right now 35, 30, 25. Two minutes apart. Two years ago I could only do 8, 6, 4.

    A usually don't get past 20.
Hovering around 20 is about all I can do.

Only 10 reps w/o weights (Most likely a lot of sets with 3-5 min resting between).

With 30lb added I can do 5 reps and 5 sets.

I hope you assholes are reading this correctly. I said pull ups not push ups which is an entirely different thing.
