Reminds me of Pandora from Avatar. +D

I don't have a religion myself but I'm not an atheist/agnostic, at least not at heart.

Seems not unreasonable, but as the basis of a philosophy or an approach to forming an ethics of living, it seems less useful than some.

Do you find a spiritual element in it? Can see how one could - and it seems in a way almost Buddhist.

Interesting. And not weird at all!

I believe we are all from this planet and being of such should have respect for each other as well as every living thing.

" all organisms and their inorganic surroundings on Earth are integrated to form a single and self-regulating complex system"

so basically, we are all stuck on this ship together so we better fucking figure it out soon before we sink it

Religion and Faith are two separate things. You may have both; you will always have at least one.

This. Religion was useful for helping me find my Higher Power. Once I found my personal spiritual relationship with my Higher Power, I had no more use for religion.

An immunity system overruning and choking Mother Earth and the other microbes living on Her. D:

Do you not "believe" in yourself? I'm not speaking from an esoteric sense of it either. Having faith in who you are and who you've become. Theist or atheist, I think anyone can appreciate that much.

Or are you one who would say "What's to believe? I am who I am. There's no need to believe in anything. Everything simply just is."

I believe there is something that is immeasurable, incalculable, beyond logic, physics(space & time), spirituality, religion, and human comprehension that works in all our lives and we return to after our temporal lives are over. Not sure if it's one thing or many things... but a part of my being tells me there is something more... and I've become a man of logic and reason over the years. This and Love being the only irrational aspects of my life. icon_biggrin.gif
