I'm having trouble finding options for an engagement ring for another man (not wedding bands for both to wear, but a separate ring just for the marriage proposal) so post some options for an engagement ring! icon_biggrin.gif

Screw the ring, I wanna go dress shopping with you!!!

    You'd look fabulous!

But anyway, go simple. make it silver or white gold. Simple band, a few sparklies on it...

The more simple it is the better

I think a simple band with some character and a small center stone is what I'm looking for. I really like this =o

I think the hammered look is cool too ... it's definitely more of a masculine look

    I think that's a cool concept. icon_smile.gif I don't like the pink diamonds though. :/

If that is what those rings mean, yes. I don't care what kind of rings my man will want to wear, as long the inside inscription has both our names. I'm happy.

    I like this one, too.

Almost as if the two halves on each guy... make a whole.

    Nice. Romantic, too.

    Wow... memories.

Chose that pattern the first time I was ever engaged... 18 years ago. Actually did the whole on-bended-knee thing in the middle of a restaurant. Sweet memories... but I was young and it wasn't what I would come to learn is true love. Saw a pic of him a few months ago. A mix between Cash and GuyNextDoor... but blond/blue. Dashingly handsome, but I would never consider going back to him.

Anyway.. back to the rings....they're nice, but it's more of a wedding band instead of an engagement ring.

How do you get engaged with another guy? icon_confused.gif I never understood this concept so well. What do you do? How do you know if it's the right time? icon_surprised.gif

Yeah I'd want something with a central stone for an engagement ring. The bands are more or less jointly agreed upon.

The first on you displayed is like the one on my ring finger. My bf and I bought them in San Francisco last year in Tiffany's. They are silver with a diamond embedded. I saw the same ones in the UK too.

The bf has just suggested that we get married in New York in a couple of weeks time so I need to source wedding rings...help!!!!

Best of luck with your search, but don't get too hung up on it...maybe take him to a store and pick them for both of you...even propose while you are standing looking at the rings?

It's perfunctory since I guess we've kind of agreed on marrying already, but he does want me to formally propose at one point.
