New polls in four battleground states show President Obama holding a lead of 5 to 7 points over Republican nominee Mitt Romney, reinforcing the national surveys that indicate that the incumbent gained ground with his convention last week.

I wonder if Romney's team will inform him of the fact that the election has slipped through his fingers.
His team are said to be focused on keeping Mitt's spirits up by telling him only polls that are hopeful.

But it's gotten to the point where there are very few hopeful polls for poor old Mitt.

If someone doesn't start opening Mitt's eyes to reality - Mitt is going to get a harsh shock on election night.

There needs to be an investigation into who provided money for the anti Islamic film that is stirring up so much trouble. I have a feeling that if we follow the money trail it may lead to some of the right wing groups that have collected so much money. What better time to stir up a lot of anti American sentiment to blame Obama with than now.

R should shoot whichever advisor told him to make a statement on Sept 11. That really finished him as presidential material.

Nothing could be further from the truth, in my opinion. There is no way of knowing until the election whether or not this will have any effect one way or the other on the outcome. I suspect it will have absolutely no effect at all. Those who are anti-Romney will, of course, be working to get all the mileage they possibly can out of this, and those who are pro-Romney will not nessarily see it as a negative at all.

It was a Christian extremist group that produced the video. Now the crazies are attacking other western embassies

I understand that the proof is in the election. But an awful lot of pundits etc came out at the time and panned his performance, repubs included.

Yes they did. Opinions all. It should be noted that he also had his supporters, one being Henry Kissinger who I am watching on CNN as we speak.

    Indeed.
The smug smirk on Mitt's face during his disastrous press conference - and the lightning swift scheduling of that press conference - raise red flags about collusion between the right-wingers who made this film and the Romney campaign.
The timing of it all - occurring on 9-11 - also raises suspicions.

The Repubs may have thought that all this - and memories of 9-11 - would be helpful to Romney - but they were dead wrong.

And if evidence is unearthed showing linkage between the Repubs involved with making this film and the Romney campaign - the GOP would not only lose the presidential election - they would suffer massive losses across the board this November.

Liar. Henry Kissinger has not been in CNN Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer for the last hour.

It was yesterday afternoon on Fox with Megyn Kelly

No Kittens...perhaps you missed it. It was a clip of an interview he did on ABC. I saw the same clip yesterday on Fox with Meghan Kelly. Once again, you don't know what you're talking about

Okay, so it's been on ABC, CNN, and FOX news. Not surprisingly, you won't be seeing the clip on MSNBC or NBC I am sure icon_wink.gif

He spoke with Megyn Kelly. He was on air on fox. He was not on air with CNN if it was a clip from ABC.

This info illustrates the problem that Mittens has:

    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/09/10/1130147/-National-Police-Union-Refuses-to-Endorse-Romney-First-Such-Refusal-in-98-Years

When Mittens is failing to get the support that even McCain got four years ago - you know that Romney is in deep trouble and is likely going to lose rather badly.

Well, you have the time to post comments on RJ with not only one account - but with an additional SOCK account as well - so you really aren't in any position to be criticizing any other RJ members.

And FYI Catfish is obviously very attractive and hardly "washed-up".

You mean Richard Nixon's discredited lap dog? Oh, by all means, let's have Kissinger defend Romney. Just another nail in the Romney coffin. It gets better & better. icon_biggrin.gif
