Just finished watching a program about a man who cycled 18000 miles in 195 days.

cycling around the world is so cool, i'm aspired to do that one day.

if you have the chance, do you prefer to ride it as fast as possible to finish your tour, or do you prefer to ride it with a slower pace and stop at more places and maybe stay there for a few days to enjoy the scene/culture?

This guy was after the record, he took 2 months off it.
I wouldn't have any choice about doing it slower, no way could I do 100 miles a day every day. Slow & enjoyable over rushing things (still talking about cycling. )
