I have a sweating problem under my armpits and idk what to do. I've tried every deodorant out there and currently use Gillette sport and it works once and awhile but not often and it's so frustrating. It's disgusting lol. Do any of you guys have this problem or have any solutions? Please it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks icon_biggrin.gif

Use an actual prescription. The over-the-counter ones don't work. I got my doctor to give me one called Hypercare. It is great. It's a liquid you put on a couple times a week before bed then wash off in the morning. I can literally go running and still won't sweat under my arms. You'll love it

Is it too much sweat or smell?

    Shave or trim your pits.

Just sweat. I'll have to talk to my doctor.

Shouldn't you be using an antiperspirant then?

    Musicman..
Try a white solid antiperspirant.. The baking soda and aluminum should help..Arm and Hammer makes a few awesome ones..!
The clear sports stuff has never worked for me!..

Also Mitchum makes some killer stuff .. a little more expensive but all together.. try these before you get a prescription!..

Anti-perspirant works best when applied just before you go to bed. Strange as that sounds.

Make sure you don't wear anything with polyester in the fabric ... it will make you sweat like a pig ... wear 100% cotton only

I used to have the same problem. I would pit out all the time even when not doing anything active. I tried shaving my pits and all the various antiperspirants: white ones, clinical strength ones; didn't matter. I would sweat through it and ruin yet another shirt with white mineral sweat stains.
I did what ksuowl did and went to doctor. Got Drysol initially, now it's hypercare. It works.

I don't think some of the posters understand there is sweat, and there is hyper-hydrosis. Excessive sweating makes you self conscious and frustrated. It's not as simple as shaving or switching otc brands of deodorant or antiperspirant, or wearing certain clothing. It's not about odor or hygiene, it's about driving your car and feeling sweat running down your side or lifting your arm and having massive wet stains less than an hour after putting it on--even though you are wearing an undershirt and maximum strength antiperspirant. Again, frustration.

The prescription stuff works on this. No more ruined shirts, no more feeling self-conscious for pit stains. Plus, it doesn't absorb into the bloodstream and stays in the outer layers of the skin--no worries about aluminum toxicity.
