I do enjoy a Guinness every now and again. And I tried a banana bread beer that was tasty. But I prefer vodka, bourbon or tequila.

Ok ... I'm ashamed to admit it ... but I'll come out of the closet
Coors is my absolute favorite beer (I can't help it, I was weened on it as a baby .. no seriously ... It was my first sip as a little kid going around and taking a sip of what your parents were drinking ... and I loved it)

Stouts, cask ales, scotch ales, and brown ales are supreme. Anything malty. icon_biggrin.gif

Left Hand Milk Stout, Breckenridge Thunder Stout, New Holland Dragon's Milk, and Wee Heavy Scotch Ale, just to name a few. I highly recommend them if you haven't tried.

Edit: Had to throw in Oskar Blues Old Chub and Old Rasputin Imperial Stout. Oskar Blues sells all their beer in cans, which is great because they're more portable, chill faster, and are easier to recycle. They're finally standing up to the can stigma. Yea beer thread! icon_biggrin.gif

i used to drink Heineken, or Amstel. (lived in NL)

To visitors I serve beer from a microbrewery here (Gahan House) to show off PEI beer; but I find it a little heavy ( almost like a german Bok) so I keep a dozen Alexander Keith's under the sink.

Those who like it - like it a lot.

    (a Nova Scotia beer)

I had a beer once that I found remarkably and pleasantly sweet and strangely refreshing. I asked what it was. To my astonishment it was Coors Light. When I tried it again in Canada it was not the same. Maybe it had to do with the meal I was eating at the time when I liked it.

Amstel, blue moon, and Stella are the gayest beers I know. What I mean by that though is most gay boys I know, if they do not drink beer they will still drink those three. I like all beer with the exception of new castle, Stella, and there's one other I can't recall the name of that my pallet finds offensive. Past those three, I really do enjoy nearly all beer.

I'm very partial towards Belgian beers. Some of the best I've tasted are Trappistes Rochefort 10, Duvel Tripel Hop, Deus, Drie Fonteinen Framboos, and a bunch of others.

Blue Moon, Shock Top, Miller Lite, Corona Light for light beer.

My ultimate -favorite- is Great Lakes' Winter Seasonal Christmas Ale.
